Fr. Tim will begin another series of presentations starting Wed,
Nov 5, in Lauerman Hall from 7-8pm. The topic for the first
class is “The Human Person in the Image of God.”

OF C HRISTIAN I NITIATION (RCIA)
Every year adults are welcomed into the Catholic
community through the Rite of Christian Initiation. It is a
gradual process in which conversion of the heart brings
you to discover God working in your life and a desire to
follow Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior.
Preparation for the rite includes a time of inquiry about,
and experience within, the faith community in an
environment of support and guidance.
Are you:
 interested in learning what it means to be
Catholic?
 interested in becoming a member of the Catholic
community?
 a baptized Catholic, have not celebrated Eucharist and
Confirmation and want to prepare for the sacraments?
 baptized in another Christian tradition and desire to
be received into full communion of the Catholic
Church?

Long time parishioner and beloved director of the OLG
5:30pm youth choir, Timothy Hilgeman, died on Oct 22.
The Tues, Nov 4 Vigil at OLG begins with reception of
the body at 4pm, followed by visitation, rosary at 5:30pm
and Vigil starting at 6:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be on Wed,
Nov 5 at 11am at St. Gregory the Great, 11451 Blue Cypress
Dr, SD, 92131, followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
A reception will be hosted at OLG at 2pm in Moloney Center.

NEW LIFE
All high school youth are welcome

Lauerman Hall Youth Room on Sun evenings after the
5:30pm Mass for sharing Catholic spirituality in a group
that is supported by youth and young adult Catholic role

project called, Operation Christmas Child. Pizza & soda
will be sold. Bring a shoebox & $10. The night will include
