November the Month of Remembrance
Sunday 2nd November All Saints
The church in this great festival honours all the saints reigning together in glory; we
give thanks to God for the graces of all his elect and strive to imitate their virtues.
Monday 3rd November All Souls
“It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead” (2 Macc 12:46) On this day
we remember our loved ones who have gone before us and pray in a special way for
those who have nobody to pray for them.
November Dead List
Envelopes are available at the back of the church with sheets of paper on which you
may write the names of your deceased relatives and friends. The lists will remain on
the altar from Nov 2nd till the end of the month. (Please do not place any money in the
envelopes.) The names of those who have died during this year will be read out at the
Masses on Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls) and Remembrance
