ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Raipur Institute of Technology was established in
the year 1995 under the aegis of Mahanadi
Education Society by a group of eminent
technocrats, industrialists, and management
professionals coming from diverse backgrounds in
industry, consultancy, academics & social
development sector with the aim of providing
quality & contemporary technical education to the
aspiring students keeping in view the needs and
challenges of the third millennium. The institute is
approved by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE) and the C.G. Government’s
Directorate of Technical Education and it is
affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda
Technical University, Bhilai.(C.G.).
ABOUT RAIPUR:
Raipur is the capital and the largest city of Chhattisgarh
with an area of 226 km2 and population, about 10 lakhs.
Chhattisgarh is an important electricity and steelproducing state of India. It is situated on the HowrahNagpur Mumbai line of the Indian railways and is well
connected with other parts of the country by air, rail &
roadways. City bus and cab service exists for the intracity travel. The weather in January is pleasant with
temperature ranging from 15 to 200C. Light woolen
clothes will be appropriate to carry.
Accommodation:
Stay arrangements will be made in hostel of our college
Rs 150/per person/per day and in hotels on request on
pre-payment basis accordingly.

The range and quality of all the departments excel
in development of innovative technologies. The
laboratory contains modern equipment and up-todate program featured for under graduate, post
graduate & PhD programs. The departments are
actively involved in interdisciplinary research. The
students perform experiments in small groups for
personal attention and
guidance through
experienced mentors.
