"The Fast and the Curious" will also facilitate your acceleration by providing you with experienced peer mentorship. Through a variety of laboratory, group, lecture, and computer activities, students explore the life of the cell and the molecules that compose it, thus preparing students for the study of human organ systems that occurs in Human Anatomy and Physiology (BI 231, 232, 233). The program focuses on life and career planning, decision making, goal setting, selfexploration, and self-esteem building. Optional courses include effective learning, computer skills, math, writing, college success and physical education. Coordinated through the Women's Program, this learning community offers individual advising, support services, and convenient day, evening, and online courses.
