Mandatory self-service
It is an advantage to use the digital self-service
solutions. Submitting a digital application ensures
you that all relevant and necessary information is
provided to the Immigration Service. The questions
in the digital self-service solutions adapt to the
individual applicant’s situation and all information is
transmitted directly to the Immigration Service’s case
processing systems. This improves the efficiency of
the case processing.
This means that you must use one of the digital selfservice solutions, when you submit one of these types
of applications, unless you are exempt from the
requirement of mandatory use of digital self-service.
