Albany ARC Employability Program accepts referrals directly from the
Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency to provide individuals with a
range of disabilities assistance with becoming gainfully employed.
Individuals served must be VR eligible and on a VR caseload. Program
services may include career development, job search strategies, work
adjustment training, interviewing skills, job coaching, job development,
placement and follow-up. The program provides work experience
opportunities in lawn and yard maintenance, general house cleaning,
janitorial services, moving services, delivery services and warehouse
packaging. The EmployAbility Program also operates a Thrift Store where
community donations of various items are sold to the public. The store
offers an additional site for clients to receive work experience.
