Indira Institute of Business Management Sanpada (IIBM) celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar
Vallabhai Patel, as Ekta Divas on the 31st of October, 2014.To mark the occasion IIBM Campus conducted
Seminar in the area of Finance Management and Human Resource Management.
The key speakers of the Finance Seminar were Messrs. K.P.Jeevan, Head of Debt, Karvy Stock Broking
Services Pvt. Ltd., A. K. Prabhakar, Former Head-Equity Research, Anand Rathi Secrurities. And Rupa Devi
Singh Former MD & CEO Power Exchange India Ltd. Mr. Jeevan said that a strong well entrenched,
transparent Debt Market is a primary requisite even for Equity Market to boom. Ms. Rupa Devi Singh
opined that it is lack of linkages that has led to bottlenecks and consequent slow down in infrastructure
development. For instance Power Generation Capacity enhanced without matching development of
distribution capabilities. Mr. A.K.Prabhakar spoke of being on the lookout for innovation led Company stock,
emphasized the criteria of ROE and net operating margins in identification of winning stock.
In HR Seminar Messrs Shriram Athri, Corporate Trainer presently Managing Director of Dhanvantari
Engineers Pvt. Ltd. spoke on Healthy Minds. Mr. Ashish Prakash Thatte, spoke on the Balanced Score Card
approach and brought forth its relevance not only in Corporate Life but also in Personal Life.Mr. Paritosh
Joshi, emphasized that the audacity to think and act contrary to conventional wisdom and practices is the
core quality of leadership.
