Lots of craft vendors, a Cookie Walk, Food Sale Table (good time to get things for Thanksgiving) and a delicious Luncheon. No attic treasures - only crafts - handmade gift items. Donations for the Cookie Walk, Food Sale Table and Luncheon Table would be greatly appreciated. Come, bring your family, friends, neighbors to help support the Center. Nov 27 - Thurs and Nov 28 - Fri - CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING - HAVE A SAFE HOLIDAY MANY THANKS to... Mary Gray, our new treasurer, who helped with serving after the Annual Meeting. THANKS to... Brenda Neronsky and Linda Wilson for covering the front desk so I could take a few vacation days. I'm always looking for people willing to cover the office for vacation days, sick days or times I'm out for a meeting/conference. Let me know if we can add your name to our list of possible volunteers. Brenda Neronsky is our Hospitality Chairman and would love more volunteers! Our Senior Songsters will be performing around the area at many different nursing homes. We want to thank Frank Forcier, our Music Director, for the many volunteer hours he contributes in planning and directing all the Songsters programs. Frank is the 2014 Senior of the Year and so deserves it for all he does. We also want to thank Cindy Wooton, the Songsters pianist, who gives up her day off to volunteer for weekly practice on Fridays and for programs. Cindy is a nurse at Springfield Hospital. Thank you, Cindy! Also thanks to Mike Wooton, Cindy's husband, who volunteers weekly in the Ceramics Dept. Without his help they wouldn't be able to pour the large pieces. He also is great at wiring lamps! Mike is also back-up coverage for our Ceramics instructor, Cathy Buskey, when she is away. Thank you, Mike! Note to all: Happy Thanksgiving to My Senior Center Family. YOU area all blessings to me! Remember there is always something to be thankful for. Be the reason someone smiles today. Hugs, Terri
