PREAMBLE
ABOUT JODHPUR
The first International Conference on Fashion
and Textiles is being organized with the
aspiration to provide a platform to
researchers, scholars, educators and industry
leaders around the world to deliberate
contemporary issues, challenges of Fashion
and Textiles and seek pragmatic solutions.
Jodhpur is among the most prominent tourist
destinations of India. It is the “second
largest” city of Rajasthan state and popular
for featuring many palaces, forts, temples, art
& craft and traditional textiles.
The mainstay focus of the conference is to
facilitate discussions on this specific and
significant research area defining new
topography through excellent contributions
and presentations.
ICFT 2015 provides opportunity to create a
network for knowledge transfer through
series of activities including fashion show,
networking dinner, discussions and meetings.
Jodhpur is set in the stark landscape of the
great “Thar desert". The city is known as the
"Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it
enjoys all the year round. It is also referred to
as the "Blue City" due to the vivid bluepainted houses around the famous
Mehrangarh Fort. Jodhpur has also topped
the Lonely Planet's list of most extraordinary
place to stay in 2014.
