The Office of the Prosecutor (“Prosecution”) submits in Annexes 1 and 2 additional material that was unavailable on 20 October 2014 when the Prosecution filed its submissions on the detention review (“Prosecution’s detention submission”). 1 The Prosecution intends to refer to this open source material during the hearing scheduled for 4 November 2014. 2. Annex 1 is a copy of media articles published online since 28 October 2014. The articles report on the arrest of Moïse Lida Kouassi, which occurred the previous Thursday (23 October 2014) and who is now being charged with “atteinte à la sûreté de l’État”. 3. Annex 2 is a copy of the Midterm report of the Group of Experts on Côte d’Ivoire pursuant to paragraph 27 of Security Council resolution 2153 (2014) and its cover letter bearing a Security Council issuance date of 13 October 2014. While this report was officially issued by the Security Council prior to the filing of the Prosecution’s detention submission, it did not become available to the public – and hence to the Prosecution - online2 until 28 October 2014.
