It is hard to believe that 2014 is coming to an end and will soon be history.
During 2014 the Moose Legion has worked hard putting on various dinners, pasta nights,
steak roasts and 2 Reverse Raffles.
Your support by purchasing tickets to these events has helped us to purchase improvements
for the Lodge that will benefit everyone.

Thanks to Butch Johns and Wes Easterly who just completed the installation of the new sound
system the Legion purchased for the Lodge.
The remodeling of the downstairs kitchen was completed by Butch Johns and Scott Salerno
with the installation of the stainless steel wall behind the fryers and grill, painting, new tile
floor and racking.
Out last dinner for 2014 will be on Wednesday, November 19. We will have City Chicken,
mashed potatoes and vegetables for $8.00.
In closing, I would like to thank all our Legion members that have volunteered their time to
work at these various events and helped to make them successful.
Happy Holidays and a healthy and prosperous New Year to all.

Super Bowl Sunday Squares
Squares will be available for Super Bowl Sunday starting November 9, 2014. One square only
per member. Members Only! The squares are $100 each. This includes your square, open bar
and food during the game. The payout is 20 score changes at $350 per score change. Any
remaining money goes to the final score. Anyone purchasing a square can bring one (1) guest
at the cost of $35 which includes open bar and food. Payment arrangements can be made.

We will be open from 12 Noon till 7:00 p.m. ?. This is so our
Volunteers can enjoy Christmas Eve with their families.

Senior Regent Message
NEW FOOD MENU FOR FRIDAY’S
I would like to thank the WOTM Board of Officers, WOTM
chapter members, and the LOOM who went above and
beyond in putting together our 2nd Annual Clam Bake. The
event was an enormous success as we served 125 clam
bakes and 6 chicken dinners. A special thank you to our
own Kenny Goins for entertaining us with his great talents! I
also want to thank all the women who have been
volunteering their time to help cook and serve on Tuesday
nights. The women are donating all their tips from serving
to the children’s fund. So, thank you all for your generous
contributions!
We have a lot of exciting events coming up in the next two
months including: The Craft Fair, Jewelry Party, Children’s
Christmas Party and The 1st WOTM Chapter 397
Scholarship. Additional information concerning these
events can be found inside this newsletter.

I am looking for volunteers who are willing to come in and
cook on Mondays or Thursdays, one or two times a month.

It’s been really exciting to see the WOTM working with
LOOM on various events and helping out in the kitchen. I
would like to encourage new members as well as all
women members to attend our meetings on the 2nd and 4th
Thursdays of each month at 7:30 PM. Just remember this is
your lodge and supporting its efforts is something we all
need to share. I hope to see more people getting involved
within the lodge as we go forward throughout the year. If
you are interested in helping out, please contact me at:

OPPORTUNITY
There is no better way to help the youth of our Lodge than
to offer them the opportunity to further their education .
We are pleased to announce the WOTM Chapter 397
Scholarship! There will be four - $1,000 scholarships
awarded to the highest-rated applicants. 2 from the
women and 2 from the Men.

The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible
for the WOTM Chapter 397 Scholarship.

Have a father, mother, step-parent or legal guardian who is a
member of the WOTM or LOOM for at least 1 year and with up-to
-date dues.

Be a student in the high school graduating class of 2015 or a
current full time undergraduate college student.

