Achieving Real Results
“We can continue to build a better, brighter future
for our families, seniors, small businesses,
farmers, and the next generation.
• Turned a $1.5 billion deficit into a $400 million surplus
• Created a new tax code that encourages job creation
I pledge to continue to work for:
• Ended over 2,000 job destroying regulations
• More efficient and effective state government
• Fiscally responsible, balanced budgets
• Ending burdensome regulations that prevent job
creation
• Energy Independence
• Prioritizing education, public safety, and road funding
• Paid down over $20 billion of long-term debt
• Invested $1 billion more into education and $500
million into roads without a tax increase
• Continue to assist hundreds of local taxpayers to cut
through the state’s bureaucracy
“Aric Nesbitt understands what it means to be a representative. He
works hard to gain the knowledge and understanding needed to serve
his district. Aric is the leader we still need to keep Michigan moving
forward!”
Dr. Carl Druskovich,

GOBLES JV FOOTBALL SAC NORTH
CHAMPIONSHIP A TESTAMENT TO THE
SUPPORT OF MANY
The Tigers traveled to Fennville on October 15th
and both the offense and defense were running on
all cylinders defeating the Blackhawks 46-0. We were
able to get a lot of kids in the game and everyone
played a part in the win.
Jacob Millward started the scoring for the tigers
and ended the game with 2 touchdowns; we had
5 different players get into the end zone. Travis
Chandler led all rushers with 92 yards and two
rushing touchdowns; he also threw for another one
to tight end Adam Fifer. Tyler Stedman and Myan
DeHaan also found the end zone for the Tigers.
Jason Boyer and Jason Holland each had a 2- point
conversion.
The Tigers clinched the SAC NORTH
CHAMPIONSHIP the following Thursday night
when the Indians of Saugatuck forfeited to the Tigers.
Gobles went 8-2 on the season and 5-0 in a very
tough and competitive SAC North.
The Indians did send over a squad to scrimmage
the Tigers on Thursday. Jacob Millward led all rushers
for the Tigers with 116 yards. Travis Chandler found
the end zone twice and went 2-2 passing for 75 yards.
Michael Myers pitched in with 7-yard touch down
run and Tyler Stedman took a kick off back 80 yards
for a touchdown. The offensive line did a great job
up front.
Our very successful season was based on the
commitment of many. We would like to say thank you
to the parents for their dedication to the program, we
couldn’t have done it without their support. A special
thank you to Jason Boyer, Jason Holland, Marc
VanHeukelum and Richard Rasmussen and to my
wife Ruth for your time and dedication to our team.

CARDINALS KEEP WORKING HARD
The Bloomingdale Cardinals Varsity football team lost their final game of the season
to Fennville 42-0.
Congratulations to the cross teams on their
outstanding performance at regionals.
Austin Bertuca started the day with a 20th
place finish. Followed by Braden Bertuca
who also had his best time of the season.
On the girls side sophomore Heather Davis led the girls team by placing 12th and
qualifying for the state finals. The state finals are going to be held at Michigan International Speedway. Followed by Brianna
Martinez who ran one of her best races and
placing 22nd. Great job everyone!
The Cardinals came out strong in the first
quarter moving the ball well and eating up
the clock. Unfortunately, their first drive
stalled just short of scoring and the Blackhawks from Fennville found the end zone
in just two plays. The first quarter ended
with a score of 6-0. The second quarter was
all Fennville as they scored 28 unanswered
points and went in at half time leading
Bloomindale 34-0. The Cardinals defense
stepped up and played tough the final half
as they only gave up 8 points. The Cardinals
offense churned out about 200 yards for the
night; however, there were just too many
mistakes preventing them from finding the
end zone. The Cardinals fought hard right
up to the end as they prevented Fennville
from scoring in the last seconds with a William Mills interception.
and Logan Holtsclaw (7 carries - 40 yards).
The defensive leaders were Antonio Salinas
(7 tackles, 1 FR) and David Mandujano (7
tackles).
Despite all of the adversity, the Cardinals
Varsity football team battled the whole
season and never quit. It did not matter if
there were injuries or if they had just suffered through a lopsided loss, they came out
to do their jobs and get better. That kind of
steadfast will to be persistent and choose to
work hard regardless of the circumstances is
pivotal in the pursuit of success. As Coach
Vince Lombardi stated – “The difference between a successful person and others is not
a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge,
but rather a lack of will”. It is the Cardinals’
will to get better that is laying the foundation for building a successful program and
establishing tradition for the future. Keep
working hard – it’s a beautiful day to get
better.
