This is so the little children are nor confused by there being more than one Santa. We have Santa Claus at the end of the parade. No horses are allowed. Candy will be passed out by hand along the parade route instead of thrown from vehicles. Requirements: Themes should be placed on both sides of the float and be in legible one-foot high letters. PLEASE place the sponsors name on the end of the float. NO HUMAN SANTA CLAUS ALLOWED ON FLOATS. NO EXCEPTIONS. (The reason for this is that we have Santa Claus at the end and we do not wish to confuse the little children by there being more than one Santa.) NO HORSES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARADE. CARS should have signage and decorations. Antique cars should have some form of identification visible, decorations are not required. CANDY will be passed out by hand along the parade route instead of thrown from vehicles. NO one is to get off/on the floats or vehicles during the parade route. NO hot-rodding on parade route, anyone doing so will be asked to leave the parade. ALL members of your party must be present before you check-in. A Rescue Squad member will assign entry numbers at check-in point. • ASSEMBLY TIME WILL BEGIN AT 4:30 P.M. • ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN PLACE BY 5:30 P.M. • THE PARADE WILL START AT 6:00 P.M.
