All-night Vigil of Prayer This Vigil of Prayer will take place at St. Laurence’s Church on Friday 7th November from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Prayers for the persecuted people of Iraq and Syria will be led by Lay Dominicans of the Fraternity of Cambridge and Laxton and by members of the Justice and Peace Group of St. Laurence’s Church. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the night as will information about ways in which we can support efforts to help and protect the persecuted peoples of Iraq and Syria. (Last year’s average was 691 and the average in 2012 was 705) Children’s Liturgy Parents/carers are very welcome to take part but children going to the ‘younger group’ MUST be accompanied by an adult.
