Golf Course Atwell Time flies. Twenty years ago this fall, our organization was born as a political response to the frustrations and rancor of dealing with the Bob Rae government. Although we still play an active political role, our AGM has evolved into a leading educational forum that focuses on practical advice for common clinical and administrative issues facing practicing General Surgeons. The AGM Committee strives to make this meeting relevant and targeted to this group. I strongly believe that you are more likely to learn something new that will change your practice at our AGM than at any Dr. Chris Vinden national meeting. True to our roots, we also keep you informed about how government initiatives impact on our membership. I look forward to seeing you on Nov. 1st for our 20th meeting.
