HIGH SECURITY. LOW STRESS. Quark Security Shield Quark Security Shield is an SE for Android™ management and a threat-monitoring service for high-security customers leveraging Samsung Mobile devices. Shield is not intended to be a replacement for MDM solutions. Instead, it works with the MDM to manage the SE for Android policies and device security policies. Additionally, Shield monitors the device to detect violations of these security policies and responds appropriately. Key Features SE for Android and Device Policy Management Shield applies packages containing Quark Security-developed SE for Android policies and device security configurations. Shield supports the use of multiple Quark Security packages, allowing the user to switch between policies to suit the requirements of the current environment. Threat Monitoring and Response Shield monitors the system to detect events indicating a possible threat to the device. Shield notifies the user upon detection of these events and responds based on their severity. Customer Benefits Simplified SE for Android Management Shield does not require an administrator to have an understanding of SE for Android policies to provide high levels of security on devices. The administrator can choose from Quark Security packages that meet the security requirements of the intended environment or request the development of custom policies. Shield provides a user-friendly interface for switching between policies on the device. The user can quickly switch from one policy to another to meet changing requirements as the user moves from one environment to another.
