Tachyon App Enablement Tachyon is a Kaprica Security technology that enables IT administrators to easily configure and reconfigure their Samsung Android™ devices over the air. Unlike other solutions, which are limited to operating system configuration and policies, Tachyon gives IT administrators full control over applications and operating systems. IT administrators can add or remove applications, configure applications and modify device settings, all from a convenient web interface. In order to fully support Samsung devices, Kaprica Security requires that the Tachyon application is signed with the platform key. Additionally, Kaprica Security will utilize the Samsung Enterprise SDK (E-SDK) to expose device policies and settings to the IT administrator. Normally, access to the E-SDK APIs requires a specific Samsung signature.
