} KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS –
The Annual Knights of Columbus Memorial Mass
will be this Tuesday, Nov. 11th at 7 p.m. at the KC
Home. This Mass will remember Knights who have
died in the last year. Everyone is welcome to
attend.
The 4th Degree Knights will be selling pans of
turnkey dressing.
All pans are frozen and
uncooked. $10 for a small pan or $20 for a large

KC Essay Contest has begun for all students 8-12th
grade. Prizes will be awarded in each grade division
with Seniors competing for a $1000.00/4 years
scholarship. Entry forms are available at www.mskofc.com/898/EssayForm.pdf. Deadline is Dec. 15th.
PICTORIAL DIRECTORY – If you did not have an
appoinment to take your picture, we would love to
include you and your family in the
Directory…..please turn in a recent photo to the
Rectory and we will make it a part of the new

ANGELS OF MERCY – We provide assistance to
new and expectant mothers in St. Michael Parish. If
your family is expecting, please contact Lori
Williams at 601-638-8448 or the Rectory so we may
keep your family in our prayers.
CYO – EDGE and LIFETEEN will meet at Farrell
Hall this Sunday, Nov. 9th at 5:30 p.m. for dinner
followed with a meeeting. The Parent Night miniseries continues tonight and parents will meet at
the same time and place.
The Mission Trip – Those interested in more info
about the South Tesas mission trip next summer
will meet today, Sunday Nov. 9th at 4:30 p.m. in
Farrell Hall. Parents and youth both need to be
there. Youth must be a minimum of 14 years old at
the time of the trip.
Steubenville South – High school students wanted
to attend Steubenvile South on June26-28 must
bring a deposit of $30 TONIGHT!

FATHER CURLEY HEADED TO IRELAND - Fr. Curley will be in
Ireland for the next month, we will continue with Masses as
usual…..Fr. O’Leary will do our 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturdays
and Fr. Prendergast will do our Sunday morning Masses.
BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE – We are here to help you and
your family while dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Volunteers prepare meals for parishioners who suffer a loss in
their family. If this committee can be of help to you, please
contact the Rectory. We are always happy to have new
volunteers in this ministry. ….please call Christy Middleton at
638-7398 or Babs Hearn at 638-9319 if you would like to
become a part of this wonderful ministry.
PSR NEWS – there will be no PSR on Sunday, Nov. 9th due to
Pictorial Directory pictures.
ST. PAUL VIGIL MASS – will change from 5:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturdays, for daylight savings time.
THANKSGIVING MASS – St. Michael will NOT have a
Thanksgiving Mass this year: St. Paul will have Mass at 9:00
a.m. and St. Mary will have Mass at 9 a.m. also.
PRAYER MINISTRY – The Mercy Associates are a group of lay
ment and women who work with the Sisters of Mercy to further
the charism of mercy in our parishes and community. Since
Sept. 1st we have offered prayer support to over 30 people
through our Intercessory Prayer Ministry. This group of 20
women is committed to pray for each intention several times
each day for seven days. All prayer requests are held in
complete confidentiality. To submit a prayer request, simply
call Fr. Curley or Cindee Griffith at the church, or Mercy
Associate Hilda Moeller at 5-610-529-6119.
COURTYARD BRICK GARDEN -- If you are interested in getting
a brick for the next group, please see the Church office. We
will get your order started for the next time our brick man
comes to town.
WORLD MARRIAGE DAY 2015 – The Catholic Diocese of
Jackson and the Office of Family Ministry is pleased to
announce that World Marriage Day is Feb. 22nd at 12:30 p.m. at
the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Jackson. There will be
a Mass with a reception following. The Mass honors all married
couples, but invites those celebrating 25th, 50th and 60th
anniversaries or any significant anniversary. Please contact the
Church office to notify them if you would like to attend this
Mass. Deadline is Dec. 28th.
