Parish Mission Statement
We, the Amador community of St.
Katharine Drexel Parish, are united in
our Catholic faith. Inspired by the Holy
Spirit and led by the example of St.
Katharine who served the marginalized,
we are strengthened by the Eucharist
and strive to serve all God’s people
while evangelizing future generations.

Jackson Rancheria to Renovate Catholic Cemetary
Jackson Rancheria has
graciously agreed to fund
some major repairs and
general clean up at the
Jackson Catholic Cemetery.
The work begins on Monday,
Nov. 10, at 8:00 AM, and will
continue throughout the
week and, as needed, next
week as well. Parishioners
are welcomed and encouraged to help out. Come by
anytime throughout the
week, bring some gloves and
they’ll assist you in finding a
job that’s right for you.
Renovation will include a
thorough cleaning and
pressure washing of the
graves and adjacent walkways, pruning of the shrubs
and trees, removal of debris,
repair of some of the
damaged graves, and
replacement of the fencing
on south, west and north
sides as needed. They will
then return in the spring and
oversee much-needed road
repair throughout the
cemetery.
We can’t express our
gratitude enough for this
tremendous gift. Even if you
can’t help out for a few
hours, please feel free to
stop by, take a look and
thank them for their generosity.
First Scrip Report
Laurie Campoy visited SKD
last Sunday to provide
parishioners with information on how our new
program is coming along,
resulting in some fabulous
after mass sales. She will be
visiting St. Patrick's this
weekend, and the rest of the
churches over the rest of the
month. Scrip will be available
after each of these visits.
Remember that we now
have many exciting new
stores in stock as we get
ready for the holidays, and
we can help you make
Christmas shopping a very
easy task. Want cards
delivered to you at your
usual church? No problem.
Call Linda Wagner at 2231156 or send an email to
[email protected],
and we will have them there
for you the following
Sunday. Please join us in our
major fundraiser in support
of our Catholic youth!

Parish will be closed Tuesday,

Veterans Day. Regular Daily Masses
will be celebrated at Sacred Heart, St.
Katharine Drexel, and Our Lady of the
Pines. Offices will reopen on Wednesday , November 12.
Remembering our Faithful Departed
You may still hand-write names of your
deceased loved ones onto special lists
that will be entered into the Book of
the Faithful Departed. These lists are
available before and after Mass at
each of the churches. Books of the
Faithful Departed will remain near the
altar throughout November.
Names entered on these lists do not
replace, but are supplemental to,
names written on the envelopes that
have been distributed in the pews.
