PACKAGING FOR TOMORROW
T
he Indian food industry is poised to live up to its
expectation as a sunrise industry of our country. The
processed food market is projected to grow as never
before. The Indian Pharmaceutical Industry has already been
placed amongst the top four emerging markets in the
pharmaceutical industry by market researchers. Indian
Consumer Product Industries are growing very fast
All
industries have a lot to contribute to the health and well being
of the general masses of our country.
It is a known fact that in the past “Packaging” the silent
salesman has contributed immensely to the safety of
products from both the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
However, with growing competition and changing dynamics of
presentation of product packs, packaging has even a greater
and more contributory role to play. The packaging industry
has risen to the occasion to provide enhanced functionality,
designs, style, and safety leading to development of newer
functional materials, processes, machinery and systems. to
meet the needs especially of these two largest user
industries of packaging of every category.
This summit aims to provide an insight into the recent
developments in the field of packaging of food and
pharmaceutical and Consumer products.
