VICTORIAN EQUESTRIAN CENTRE EVENTING CAMPS 2014-2015 Eventing Camps will be held during the 2014-2015 Summer and Autumn holidays. The 2014 Summer Camp will be held over 14th – 19th December and the 2015 Summer Camp from 11th-16th January. The 2015 Autumn Camp will be conducted over 5th – 10th April. The camp is offered only to those who have their own horses and wish to develop their eventing skills. The camp focuses on the eventing disciplines, dressage, showjumping and cross country. The cross country will be held on a nearby cross country course, where there are many technical and variable fences. The camp costs $670 inclusive of GST. This includes accommodation in the bunkhouse, all meals, horses stabled or paddocked, with two hard feeds a day plus hay everyday. The day includes two riding lessons, plus a horsemanship session guided by specialists in their fields, such as a vet or farrier. There will also be horse care and theory sessions and a talk on how to go about preparing horses for a Three Day Event.
