Analyst’s Verdict: Zaidpour rarely goes
about his task with much enthusiasm
nowadays, but can boast a very good record
fresh and he really should outclass these,
with the well-being of main form rival
Pittoni an obvious concern. Darwins Fox
therefore is the solid forecast option.

Analyst’s Verdict: Harvey Logan justified
market support with a bit to spare on last
month’s Naas reappearance and can make
light of an 8 lb rise in the weights. Lo Siento
improved for the drop in trip when off the
mark in a Galway maiden last month and
looks on a fair mark now handicapping,
while the booking of Ruby Walsh catches
the eye for Tony Martin’s Living Next Door.

Analyst’s Verdict: This doesn’t looks a
particularly strong graded event. Mckinley
has the best form on offer and can resume
winning ways back in novice company.
Princely Conn made an impressive winning
start to his hurdling career at Punchestown
last month and could be the one to give
the selection most to think about ahead of
Mumbo Bay.

167§ 1. ZAIDPOUR

Analyst’s Verdict: Uradel didn’t fare too
badly when fifth in the Melrose handicap
at York in August, and he rates the type to
step up now hurdling for his powerful yard.
Fellow Flat recruit Kabjoy and Lady Clitico
look likeliest to give him most to think
about.

Analyst’s Verdict: Some smart chasers clash
in this Grade 2. Mouse Morris’ Baily Green
was disappointing at Gowran last month,
but he’s a very smart chaser at his best and
might be worth chancing to bounce back
from that effort and make the most of the
weight he receives from reappearing pair
Twinlight and Days Hotel.

Analyst’s Verdict: Gallant Oscar still
appears fairly treated in this sphere judged
on his exploits over fences, and with Ruby
Walsh booked ahead of his return now, he
gets the nod. Saddlers Luck is feared on
debut for Jim Culloty, along with Cool Oscar
now partnered by Barry Geraghty.

Analyst’s Verdict: Gilgamboa was
an impressive winner of a valuable
Leopardstown handicap before running
respectably in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle
last time. He is bred and built to be even
better over fences and can make a winning
debut here. Blood Cotil fell on his sole
chasing start, though should give Enda
Bolger’s charge most to do, while Empire of
Dirt is another potentially smart prospect in
this sphere.

Analyst’s Verdict: Whiskey No Ice made a
promising start to his career when second
at Gowran last month and this looks a
decent opportunity for him to go one
better. Gordon Elliott’s Iffjack is probably the
main threat if he can reproduce the form
he showed at Hexham last time, though
it wouldn’t be a surprise if the well-bred
Rogue Trader improved with his debut
behind him.
