Director

Evan Lapinski
Thank you for your nomination for Director. I am both excited and humbled for the opportunity to serve the chapter and
all of its members in this capacity. I have been a member of Crossroads shortly after its inception. I have seen many
positive changes in the chapter during this time. During my tenure as Membership Officer I had the opportunity to meet
many new members and strengthen my friendship with others. Being an officer has opened my eyes to just how hard
fellow officers work to not only make sure that everything runs smoothly, but to constantly strive to make our chapter
an even better experience for everyone.
I have been a Director or Manager for the better part of 17 years in the healthcare field. For many of those years most
of my spare time was dedicated to my job. I now work close to home and have more time to devote to riding and being
involved in chapter activities.
I have been a Road Captain for the past three years and your current Membership Officer. I look forward to working
with my fellow officers to make sure this chapter reaches its full potential to make your involvement a satisfying and
safe experience.

Treasurer

I am running for the position of treasurer of YOUR chapter. As most of you know I have been YOUR treasurer for the last
year. The reason your is capitalized is because this is your chapter, I am only a humbled servant. I would like your vote to
continue on for another year. This past year has been a wonderful/learning experience. It has been gratifying me to
meet so many great people, learn so much and have your support.
Secretary

Jo Williams
Thank you for the nomination of the secretary position for the year of 2015. I feel that my contributions as the current
secretary have been a value to our members. Being secretary has given me a whole new insight as to how our chapter is
run and what it takes to keep our chapter going strong and interesting. I strive to make our chapter meeting notes as
accurate as I can. In the past, I have been a secretary for the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW for 4 years and for the Board
of Deacons at my church for two years.
LOH Officer

Lauree Vasher
I am looking forward to serving another term as LOH Officer. We've had a great, busy year...and it's not over yet! For the
month of November, we will be putting up the Giving Tree on Thursday, attending Wine, Women & Shopping in Chelsea
on the 8th, serving the Dealership Appreciation Dinner next Tuesday and Holiday Gift Wrapping at the Dealership starts
on the 22nd. WHEW!! I am already working on several events for next year and will continue to have ALL of the LOH
events open to all chapter members (well, maybe not the weekend trip to Saugatuck in May!) Everyone at the
Dealership, my fellow officers and Chapter members have been tremendously supportive of the things I have kept the
same, as well as the changes I have made. Crossroads LOH has grown in 2014, let's keep that momentum going in 2015!!
Activities

Ellen Slykhouse
I am honored to be nominated for the activities officer for Brighton Crossroads Hog Chapter. As you may know I am
currently the activities officer for the chapter. I volunteered to be the activities officer as of May 2014, after this position
was left open by the previous officer. Over the past several years, I have helped with several activities in the chapter:
chili cook off, dealership appreciation dinner, the ladies only garage party, winter party, and also in charge of the auction
for the winter party. Since taking over I introduced a couple of new activities to the chapter. They included Meet and
Mingles and we participated in the Flag Placement at Great Lakes National Cemetery. I have been a hog member for
over ten years. I am a passenger that has traveled over 150,000 miles, visited 40 states, have attended several state hog
rallies other than Michigan. I also participate in the ABC’s of touring and the Ride and Have Fun Program If elected I will
be looking for several volunteers to help make our riding season very eventful.


Mike Hoffman
I am asking for your support to become Crossroads HOG's next Safety Officer. My credentials include: 7 years as Safety
Officer of Crossroads Hog // 7 years as Safety Officer of Waterford HOG (prior to establishment of Crossroads HOG) //
retired MSF instructor - Ohio & Michigan // 50+ years riding experience // Charter member of Crossroads HOG - officer 8
of our 10 years // 2X Harley Officer Training.

Ernie Sixbey
Thank you very much for your nomination for Safety Officer at the Brighton Crossroads dealership. I have 50+ years
riding experience and I am very aware of how dangerous the roads can be. I have taken advanced rider classes, safety
classes and road captain classes. I am the Veteran's rep for Crossroads HD, UAW Local 900 and Region 1A UAW. I am
also a Patriot Guard rider and have escorted many heroes to their final resting place. I ride typically 25,000 miles per
season and safety is my main concern. I realize safety is something that we should all be aware of and if elected I will
endeavor to keep you informed of issues pertaining to your safety concerns. See you on the road. Be safe!!
Webmaster

Ray Feher
I am also running for Webmaster to further serve our Chapter. As the current Historian I am the custodian of all of the
pictures from our Chapter from years ago. I would like to take the hard work of prior historians and add these
scrapbooks to our new website. I hope my service to our Chapter shows my commitment level and respectfully ask for
your votes as Historian and Webmaster.
Historian

Ray Feher
I would like to start by thanking you for letting me serve as Historian this past year. It has been great to get know more
people in our chapter because we have a great chapter with great people and dealer support. I am looking forward to
serving another year as Historian.
Membership

Leni Hoffman
I’m grateful for the nomination to be Membership Officer. I joined Ann Arbor American HOG in 2003 and became a
charter member of Crossroads when our chapter was launched. I’m your current webmistress. You’ll see me and my
trike at most Geezer rides and many dessert rides. I was our secretary for most of period 2006-2010. The secretary was
also the membership officer then; that was a lot of work for one person and in 2008, the general manager appointed our
first membership officer. Being a quiet and rather shy person, I really liked being able to get to know members
individually when I did membership. I’m enjoying being able to contribute and helping the chapter grow, but I’d prefer
to talk to people, not just this computer! Thanks for considering me for this position.

I want to thank you for your nomination for Membership Officer and I look forward to the opportunity of serving the
Chapter in this role. This is my first time running for an office as I have been busy working full time and raising a family - I
hadn't felt I was able to make such a commitment. My boys are grown now and I am ready to dedicate more time to the
growth of our Chapter.
I have been a member of Crossroads since its inception. In that time I have enjoyed meeting new people and have
established strong friendships with many of the members. I very much enjoy being involved in the Chapter and
dealership activities. I love riding and would like the opportunity to encourage new and prospective members to ride
and have fun with us!
Thank you again!

I would also like to thank everyone for their Nomination and support for the position of Editor. I think this will be a great
experience and I look forward to putting together a newsletter that will help keep everyone abreast on the goings on of
the chapter whether it it is upcoming events for the news of events past. I have some background in doing newsletters
as I wrote a Newsletter for my Bass Fishing club for many years and wrote many newsletter type articles when I worked
in the Boat business where I worked as the Business Manager. I also work on the Computer with Pictures, ads and
Articles as well as working with Facebook in my Current Business owning and Operating Green Oak Golf Carts. You can
be assured I always finish what I start and never quit in the middle of an elected term. With the help of our Current
Editor I hope to hit the ground running and learn this new position and bring you the newsletter our Chapter deserves.
I hope you can see the commitment you got from me as Photographer and know I will give this again for 2015 with both
the Photographers Position as well as the Editors Position.
