Finishing
Painting contractors must comply with ASTM
C840 specifications, specifically with regard to
sealing.
Unfinished GRG may exhibit slight imperfections, which will be eliminated when parts are
finished using typical drywall finishing methods.
Due to the porosity differential between joint
compounds and GRG materials, the painting
contractor must properly seal all surfaces prior
to finishing.
BUILDING CODES
Installation must comply with the requirements
of all applicable local, state and federal code
jurisdictions.
