Veterans Day Parade Dear Parents, This coming Tuesday, the FHCS elementary students will be participating in the Riley County Veteran’s Day Parade. It is always a great event and we are happy to be able to honor the veterans in our community and those who are currently serving in the military. With almost 1/3 of our students coming from military families, this is an important community event. Each of our elementary students in grades 1-6 submitted a poster for the Riley County Veteran’s Day Poster Contest and we have been notified of the results. Madison Rankin, grade 2, and Benjamin Anspaugh, grade 4, each got 1st place in their grade category. Joshua Torres came in second in the 2nd grade and Dylan Hrinda got 3rd place for grade 6.
