Veterans Day
All school parents and grandparents are invited to attend
our Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, November 11 at
10:00 a.m. in the school gymnasium. Students will be allowed to wear school appropriate patriotic shirts. Veterans
and their families are invited to the Parish Hall after the assembly for refreshments.

Stewardship Celebration
November 22nd is the St. Patrick Parish Stewardship Celebration after 4:30 mass in the Parish Hall. Free food, raffles,
essay winners and fellowship. All are invited to attend.

Jean Day Money
Friday, November 14: The high school jean day collection
will go to the senior class account and the middle school
jean day collection will go to the 8th grade class account.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences are on November 25. Please
make sure to get sign up forms returned as soon as possible.
We will do everything possible to give you a time close to
the time you signed up for.
Addressing Survey Concerns
There were many comments on the survey in regards to bullying and how it is addressed. This year we brought Dr.
Marcia McEvoy back to talk about her program, “The Four
Pronged Approach to Violence Prevention in Schools.” Dr.
McEvoy met with our staff, students on two occasions, and
with our school families. We have worked hard to implement this program to the fullest extent possible. Our Director of Student Life, Mrs. Townsend works with students
when issues related to mean behavior or bullying arise.
Congratulations
We would like to send out a special congratulations to our
music teacher, Mrs. Leanna Davis on the birth of her baby
girl. Paisley Jo Davis was born on Tuesday, November 4
weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 and ¾ inches long.

Congratulations to the junior varsity volleyball team on their
successful season. They finished with a dual match record
of 11 – 1 and tied for first place in the league. Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team. They finished the year

Thank you to the third grade class for doing a great job leading at school Mass for this week.
Thank you to all who sent in items for the birthday boxes
that were assembled last Friday. One hundred and five boxes
were assembled and donated to our local food bank. This
exceeded our goal of one hundred boxes.
Thank you to the Catholic Order of Foresters for sponsoring
Pay It Forward Day this year. They donated shirts for all of
our high school students to wear while out raking. To learn

Library News
Cynthia Rylant is a very diverse author who has created
many unique characters such as Henry and Mudge, Poppleton, Brownie and Pearl, Annie and Snowball, and Mr. Putter
and Tabby. In addition, she has written many picture books
and novels for the upper elementary grades. This week all of
the classes enjoyed many of her works.
Give Thanks! Give Blood!
The St. Patrick School chapter of the National Honor Society is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on November
18th from 10:00AM to 4:15PM in the St. Patrick Parish
Hall. To schedule an appointment to donate, please see an
NHS member or visit www.redcrossblood.org. Walk-In
donors are welcome as time and space allows.
PFCU Student Branch
Members of PFCU (faculty and students) can now use the
school branch every Tuesday in the music room over the
lunch periods. Middle and High school- every time you use
the branch, enter for a chance to WIN a gift card to McDonalds! Plus, every 3rd time you use the school branch, you
receive a full size candy bar! Limited withdrawals, deposits
or cash your check- we make it easy and convenient for you
to do your banking at school. Elementary- make a deposit to
your savings account and enter for a chance to win a water
bottle filled with candy! Saving money at school is cool!

Christmas Program
The Christmas programs will have two performances on
December 4th. The fist being held at 2pm and the second at
6pm. Both performances will be held in the church.

Mark your calendars for the GREATEST event of the year! The 2015 Shamrock Auction planning has
begun. We have many rockin’ events planned for the night. Dust off those poodle skirts, shine those
saddle shoes, pull out the Varsity jackets with pins, and grease that hair back! Be ready to “rock
around-the-clock”.
The Auction Committee is seeking help for the following positions:
