A copy of the prize list is available upon request from the Event Secretary ENTRY FORMS The same entry form may be submitted for all three Trials, provided that a separate entry form is submitted for each dog, that the classes for each Trial are indicated, and that all information is the same for all three days. If any information is different, please submit separate entry forms. Please advise trial secretary of any errors. If jump height is not provided, height will be assigned based on breed of dog and best estimate of height SPECIAL NOTICES Transfers will be approved in accord with Chapter 1, Section 16a of the Obedience Regulations, provided that a written request is submitted to the Trial Secretary at least 5 30 min. prior to the start of the Trial, and that the limit has not been reached in the requested class. Toledo Kennel Club will provide coffee, baked goods and lunch for exhibitors all three days. A limited number of catalogs will be available at the Trial for $4.00 each. You may pre-order a catalog for $3.00 by including payment with the entry fee. Qualifying scores are required for all awards. Because of limited space, exercise pens will not be allowed in the building or in the parking area, and crates must be stacked if necessary to allow room for all exhibitors and dogs. Space for unentered dogs will not be provided at these Trials, as provided in Chapter 11, Section 11 of the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows". No Smoking is permitted in the Toledo Kennel Club Building. All trophies must be claimed on the day of the Trial; none will be mailed. Any unclaimed awards become the property of the Toledo Kennel Club, Inc. A trophy of equal value will be substituted in the event that a specific trophy is unavailable. A refund of all but $9.00 of each entry fee will be made to an exhibitor with a bitch that has come into season after the close of entries, providing that a statement from a veterinarian is submitted to the Trial Secretary no later than one hour before the beginning of judging on the day of the Trial. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Should such acknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please contact the Trial Secretary. AKC Event & Recording Fees will be required for the first entry of each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking test. The fees are to be collected by the trial-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Fees are to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2). The recording and event fees are included in the entry fee. No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. If because 7 of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the trial, no refund of entry fees will be made. Post Dated and Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The trial giving Club will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellations of entries after the published closing date. Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside of any building or within 100 feet of the show grounds on which this obedience trial is conducted. No electrical hookups will be available. No Smoking is allowed in the building. The grounds will not be available to the exhibitors and their dogs on the nights prior to the trials. Neither the Trial Committee nor the Toledo Kennel Club will be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog on the trial grounds, whether as a result of an accident or any other cause. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and fogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time the entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event of the show for which entries closed after the date of the acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
