Superplasticizer with retarding effect based
on modified acrylic for ready-mixed concrete
with a low water/cement ratio and long water
retention even in hot climates
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
Dynamon SR 6/PA is a modified acrylic-based
admixture for ready-mixed concrete, belonging
to the MAPEI Dynamon SR system.
WHERE TO USE
Concretes manufactured with Dynamon SR 6/PA have
a high level of workability (consistency classes plastic or
fluid according to ASTM standard), and are consequently
easy to apply when fresh. At the same time they offer
excellent mechanical performances when hardened.
Dynamon SR 6/PA is especially recommended for
the ready-mixed concrete sector and whenever a
considerable reduction in mixing water is required,
coupled with excellent maintenance of initial workability
of the concrete in various consistency classes, even
when surrounding temperature is high.
The main application areas for Dynamon SR 6/PA are:
• ready-mixed concrete with long slump retention,
especially in hot weather;
• concrete for waterproof, durable applications
according to the specified exposure class;
• RCC.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Dynamon SR 6/PA is a water solution containing acrylic
polymers (without formaldehyde), capable of dispersing
the grains of cement and promoting slow development
of initial cement hydration.
HOW TO USE
Dynamon SR 6/PA develops maximum dispersing
action when added after the other mix ingredients
(cement, aggregates, added minerals or filler materials
and at least 80% of the mixing water).
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER PRODUCTS
Dynamon SR 6/PA is compatible with other products
for producing special concrete, and especially with:
• Mapeplast SF silica fume based powder
admixture for manufacturing “top quality” concrete
(high strength, impermeability, durability);
• Expancrete, expansive agent for manufacturing
shrinkage compensated concrete;
• fly ash for the production of conventional concrete
or self-compacting concrete;
• Mapeform Eco and DMA 1000 form-release
agents for release concrete from formworks;
• Mapecure curing agents to protect concrete
structures from rapid water evaporation.
DOSAGE
Dosage by volume:
from 0.6 to 1.2 l per 100 kg of cement for conventional
concrete.
Different dosages from those suggested must be
previously tested through concrete trials, in addition to
consulting MAPEI Technical Services Department.
PACKAGING
Supplied in bulk quantities and 1,000 l IBC tanks.

Dynamon SR 6/PA can be stored for 12 months in

Exposure to direct sunlight can provoke
variations of the colour tone without altering
in any way the performances of the product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Dynamon SR 6/PA is not considered
as dangerous according to the current
regulations regarding the classification of
mixtures. It is however recommended to use
protective gloves and goggles, and to take
the usual precaution when handling chemical
products.
