• Section 1 - Boiler Condensate Solutions
With the changes to the building regulations in 2005, condensing boilers are now forming circa.
99% of the domestic boiler volumes installed in the UK.
Pump House have spent the past seven years engaging with installers and manufacturers to
understand the challenges and provide affordable solutions. Subsequently our design teams
and experienced sales staff have delivered a range of boiler condensate removal systems,
soakaway, neutralisers and solutions to overcome freezing condensate pipes.
• Section 2 - Renewable Solutions
The Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) market is new and growing rapidly. Heat pumps are
predominantly domestic and tend to be located in exposed areas to the side or rear of
homes and have a tendency for accidental damage. With the cost of an ASHP being high, it
is important to support and protect these units. If the ASHP should fail or suffer vandalism it
can result in a substantial repair cost and a complete loss of heating / hot water to the homeowner.
Pump House stock a range of guards, wall mounting brackets, trays, support solutions, hose
insulation and trunking to suit all of the requirements and sizes of an ASHP units.

A regular cleaning and maintenance programme is essential for the efficient running and cost

Cutting a condensate pipe due to freezing has
become commonplace over winter periods.
The BB-1 Boiler Buoy condensate bypass valve is a
solution that has been designed to be fitted during
install, emergency call outs or whilst performing
annual service visits.
A RED float which when visible, indicates that the
condensate pipe has a blockage or may be frozen.
The built in tap allows the householder to drain the
condensate away safely and ensures heating of the
property can be maintained.

& boiler condensate removal pump is designed
to take high temperature pressure relief from
domestic boilers up to 42kW.
With a 3.8 litre tank, this pump is constructed
from a heat resistant plastic and can handle

The BCONDNEUT-20L is a 20 litre stainless
steel neutraliser which handles condensate
from boilers up to 600kW.
Installing a neutraliser will reduce the impact

Where a suitable gravity point is not available
the Soakaway should be used in conjunction
with 10mm lime chippings.
SOAKAWAY
Compatible with the following pipe sizes:
• 22mm (3/4") Overflow.
• 32mm (1-1/4").
• 40mm (1-1/2").
1. Dig hole (min depth) 400mm x 300mm diameter, at least 500mm from the wall.
2. Fill the bottom of the hole with 100mm depth of lime chippings.
3. Insert soakaway tube with lower drain holes facing away from the property.
4. Fill the remaining part of the hole & tube with lime chippings.
5. Feed the pipework either into the top or through the side of the soak away.

The flexi Lite Slab & Foot Kit is a low cost
innovative solution for floor mounting air
source heat pumps which avoids the high
cost and time consuming method of casting
a concrete slab.
Our solution can be delivered to site with
minimum ground work preparation. It can
be assembled in minutes and provides
an external fixing point with built in antivibration characteristics to suit all sizes

These metal trays are supplied in three sizes to
accommodate most brands of domestic air source
heat pumps.

ASHP & Biomass Boiler - Flexible Hose NEW
The Pump House Flexible Hose is designed to meet
the requirements of the MCS MIS 3005 installation
specification to allow the flow and return pipe work
to connect to a heat pump. The Flexible Hose helps
to avoid any movement in the pipe work and allows
for a smooth bend when connecting the flow and
return to the heat pump and biomass boiler.

These weather-protected, steel mesh guards
offer protection of externally located air source
heat pumps against vandalism and accidental
damage.
PROTECTIVE GUARDS
All panels receive an 8-phase epoxy-polyester
powder coating, with scratch-resistant, textured
finish in a colour (RAL 7032) to match most
brands of domestic air source heat pumps.

routing is not available.

The volume of condensate from an ASHP
is typically double the volume created from
