Larry’s Lyric’s
Our Fall meeting was filled with uplifting reports, exciting ministry opportunities
and a challenging message. Let me say thank you to everyone who did such an
excellent job of making this a great night for our association. A special word of
thanks to the congregation of FBC Woodbine for being such wonderful hosts and
for opening your beautiful building to us. With our spirits refreshed and the
mission set out before us, let me challenge each of us to work together to see the
Gospel shared with every person from our next door neighbor to the utter most
parts of the world.

Tony’s Tidbits:
Believe it or not fall semester is close to being over. Lots of college students at CCGA are
still not connected with a local church. Many students at CCGA do not know Jesus. I was
just wondering if that matters. More specifically does it matter to you? Does it matter to
your church? If it matters then what are you doing?
I am so thankful to Scott McVey from Northside, Brunswick who week after week reaches
out to students. He does not just do it occasionally. He has been doing it for the past
5 years. He has helped to start two new Bibles studies on campus this semester. I am
thankful to the churches who have provided food. I can always count on Frederica, I never
have to ask twice. They are always on the job. I could also make a list of others who over
time have assisted the ministry at CCGA. Many have lead Bible studies and others have
provided music.
For all of the help I say thanks. However, the needs have not gone away. There are still
ongoing ministry needs. We still need partners. There is a great mission field right in your
back yard. Just wondering, does it really matter?
