Happy Fall from Christian Education! Christian Education Staff: Deb, Amy, Melissa, & Sara
Explore Family Sunday School Christian Education will be hosting Explore family Sunday school once a month. The
next two dates set are November 23rd and December 21st. We will have themes to go with the holidays plus goodies
to munch on. Family Sunday school is for all family members including students, parents, and little ones infant and up.
We hope you will join in with this new exciting ministry within our church.

The Christmas program date had been set for Wednesday December 10th during the WOW church service.
Children will begin preparing for the program during Journey Wednesday school.

READING GROUP
The Reading Group will meet at Resurrection Lutheran Church this Sunday, November 16, 2014, rather than in the
Intergenerational Room. There will be no Reading Group at 1st UMC this month. Thank you!
ALL CHURCH TURKEY AND HAM DINNER
The All Church Turkey and Ham Dinner will take place in TCC after the second service on Sunday, November 23rd.
Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing and cranberry relish will be served. The congregation is asked to
bring a salad, bread or a dessert to share. Thank you!
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH, 2014
There will be no Wednesday School, WOW Meal, WOW Service, Confirmation Classes or Youth Group on Wednesday,
November 26th due to the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday. The Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27th.

Church Bus Information
The church bus is available to transport those who wish to attend Sunday morning Worship at 11.00. This transportation
service has been underutilized because the information presented has requested that those desiring a ride call the church
no later than Friday. However, if for any reason you would like a ride but did not call by Friday, this is not a problem, you
may still ride. We have two drivers who take turns driving. On Saturday or even early Sunday morning you may call 2247044 (Bob Barden) or 223-2632 (Larry Hartley). If you do not receive an answer at the first number please leave a
message and then call the second number and if you do not receive an answer leave a message there also. The drivers
communicate with each other and plan that one of them will always be available. Please do not miss worshiping together
because you think you do not have transportation!
