Dear Ranchland Hills Member,
I trust this email finds you well,
I am pleased to let you know that a few of my mates in the Midland area are teaming up to participate in the Birdies for
Kids fundraiser later this fall. As you many of you know, eleven years ago several Aussie PGA golf professionals
started Birdies for Kids and since its inception, the fundraiser has raised more than $1.25 million toward Junior Golf and
other children’s charities in the North Texas area.
After a decade of only Aussies participating, as a group, we decided to expand the fundraiser and invite other golf
professionals and facilities to participate in an effort to make an even greater impact in our communities. Golf
professionals from Odessa CC, Midland CC and Green Tree CC will be joining me and playing this year.
This year we will be conducting our fundraiser at Ranchland Hills on Tuesday, November 25. Your donation will
benefit the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation’s Growth of the Game initiatives and also the Midland
Children’s Rehabilitation Center in our community.
We will each be playing four rounds (72 holes) during the fundraiser this year. My goal is to make as many birdies and
eagles as possible. I am seeking pledges from individuals and companies for every birdie and eagle that I make. We
will be playing from the championship tees and I hope to make between 15 and 25 birdies during the day.
If you choose to support me, once the fundraiser is played, I will inform you of the total number of birdies and eagles
that I made and the NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation will send you an invoice for your pledge. Your donation is 100% tax
deductible.
For your consideration, I have included a pledge form for you to complete and mail, email or bring back to the golf shop
at your convenience. Or, if you would prefer, you can make a secure on-line donation at
www.active.com/donate/bfk_14/bfk_14JLangda. Please note: All pledges should be made on or before November 24.
If you have any questions, please call me at (432) 683-2041, as I would love to chat with you about the fundraiser, or
visit our website at www.birdiesforkids.org. The website has plenty of interesting facts about the fundraiser.
Thank you in advance for considering supporting me this year.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Langdale
