ACTIVITY GROUP NEWS Bike (Glenn Mutch, 588-8404) Tuesday, November 18th is the next bike ride. Glenn will meet everyone near Kohl’s in the Junction Shopping Center at 8:30am and a carpool caravan will head to Knight’s Ferry. Ride out and back with lunch at The 50’s Café. Bring a helmet, gloves, tube repair, water, snack or lunch money. Oh yea, we need pictures, so, one or more should bring a camera and take a bunch of pictures!!! Golf (Richard Broddie, 586-3151) Games and tournaments will resume Spring 2015. Hike (Jerry Jensen, 928-1278) Hike around Pinecrest Lake on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Meet at 8:30am at the Twain Harte Market and we’ll car pool. It’s about 4.5 miles round trip staying around 5,600 feet. Flat terrain with short up pitches over several rocky bluffs. Bring lunch, water, mosquito repellent and sun block. And, yea, we need pictures, so one or more hikers need to bring their camera!!! Horseshoes (Cas Munoz, 586-1578) SIR Horseshoe games will restart in Spring 2015 Pinochle (Roland Patton, 586-5643) Games are each Monday at the Moose Lodge on Longeway: November 3, 10, 17 and 24 Play starts at 12:30pm and usually ends at or before 3:30pm. We play ‘Cutthroat’ (3 players) over 8 games with 3 hands per game and the entry fee is $3.00. Propane (Roy Gray, 586-9663) SIR# 172 has a deal with J.S. Tech (Dick Chimenti, 677-7070) Dick held a meeting last month focusing on how to move pictures from a camera to computer, resize pictures & how to send them via email and there’s a summary on page 4.
