This program takes place in the Douglas Library Meeting Room before the library opens. Doors will be unlocked at 9:45am. Presented in collaboration with the Friends of the Juneau Public Library and Alaska Robotics. Sat 8 Character Design from the Inside Out Drawing Workshop - Douglas Library, 1:30-3:30pm Work with professional comic artist Dylan Meconis to build and develop characters who will generate their own original stories. You'll use ideas and exercises from theatrical costume design, Swedish storytelling games, science fiction writing, and yes, even comic books to find out. Bring a notebook/sketchbook and your favorite sketching tools. This program is presented in collaboration with the Friends of the Juneau Public Library and Alaska Robotics. How does a scene in a book become an action sequence or a song in the a play?
