Wayne Dalton 9100 Comfort
series

Design
Garage doors model 9100 are available in white, brown,
anthracite and golden oak. There are also different
designs of the surface - raised panel (very deep look),
pinstripe and flush all in woodgrain finish*. Attached
seals that make door tight are in colors that match
door color - white, brown and black. Hidden springs
make internal door look more clean. Door 9100 can be
fitted with windows that improve appearance of the door
and can make your garage full of light.
Flexibility
The door can be installed in garages with a low headroom
space – 15 cm is enough to install manual operated door
- 3 cm more is required for electric operated door.
Required headroom can be decreased by 5 cm when
counterbalance system will be converted to rear mount
system. After installation of the standard system, the
minimum effective driveway height is reduced only by
2 cm in doors with operators. Door width is not limited
- ordering width is opening width.

Durability and safety
Components used in the door design are regularly
tested, what ensures long product life. Doors are
balanced with unique patented TorqeMaster System.
Hidden in the tube springs are very easy to tension
and are probably the safest in the business. Standard
spring brake device is naturally connected to drums.
Heavy-duty springs are designed to last at least
20 thousand cycles. Cables, hinges and other
sub-assemblies are tested for 50 thousand cycles.
Thermal insulation
External surface of the door is made of steel, while
internal made of vinyl. Section's interior is filled
with hard polyurethane foam. The construction provides
high thermal insulation; U heat transmittance
coefficient is 1.9 W/m2K for the assembled door. Panel
average thickness is 20 mm.

Design
The 9600 Classic garage doors are available in Raised
Panel and Pinstripe design - all with woodgrain finish
- inside and outside, for special orders can be also
flush woodgrain surface, Sonoma, or Elongated Raised
Panel. Doors are available as a standard in white and
brown and optionally in special 9 stained colors or RAL
color range. Attached seals are in white, brown or
black color depending on the door. Door finish is in
woodgrain structure on both sides. Doors can be equipped
with windows based on the customer's request.
Thermal insulation
External and internal surface of the door is made of
steel. Section's interior is filled with polyurethane
foam. The construction provides high thermal
insulation and low air infiltration thanks to tight
seals around the door. U value coefficient is
1.5 W/m2K, and what is important, it is specified for
installed door. Average panel thickness is ca. 30 mm.
Durability
9600 CLASSIC garage doors - the same as other Wayne
Dalton doors are supplied with long-term warranty. Each
new component, before will be approved, have to pass
long durability tests. Minimum cycle life test consists
of 50 thousand cycles of door opening and closing.
Doors are designed to work for minimum 40 thousand
cycles. Heavy-duty torsion springs that are used as
standard in KRONway version of doors are calculated to
last at least 20 thousand cycles. Designed durability
means more than 50 years of normal work!!!

Easy usage and installation
Garage doors are easy to use and operate. Wayne Dalton doors
are easy to install. Bottom seal, tracks and hinges are
preinstalled to make installation faster and easier. Special
patented spring system - TorqeMaster® is unique in the
business and allows for spring tension with simple wrench.
Attached manual doesn’t have any text and with pictograms
shows installation step by step. Installation can be also
checked on the You Tube KRONway channel.
Flexibility
Door design allows for installation in garages with 15 cm
headroom when is used standard front mount spring system or
10 cm headroom when doors have rear mount spring system that
is used optionally. Like the other 9000-series products,
this model can be operated manually or automatically.
Electric operated doors require usually 3 cm extra headroom.
With electric opener doors allow almost 100% passage.

KRONway K-4 Thermo PLUS
series

Design
The K-4 Thermo PLUS garage doors combine modern design and
high aesthetics of workmanship. Doors of this type are
available in wide range of colors and finishes - from modern
anthracite in special wrinkle surface, through wood imitating
films to classic white and brown or even full RAL range.
External and internal door surface can be smooth or have
woodgrain. The K-4 Thermo PLUS garage door is manufactured
with ribbed surface, one rib surface and surface without ribs.
In doors can be installed windows.
Thermal insulation
The K-4 Thermo PLUS garage doors are made of 40 mm thick panels.
Couple options of KRONway doors have sections that are
manufactured by German Company Hoesch GmbH with usage of Thyssen
Krupp steel. Panels interior is filled with freon-free high
density polyurethane foam. As a result, KRONway garage doors
provide the highest parameters of thermal insulation.
Durability
KRONway Company in offered products puts a big attention on
customers' satisfaction in long term usage of the products.
For the production of doors there are used only high quality
components, all metal parts are galvanized for protection
against rust. Torsion springs that make door balanced are
designed for minimum 20 thousand cycles. As stated over
panels are manufactured by European business leaders.
Cables, hinges and other sub-assemblies are selected in such
a way to function reliably for approximately 50 years of
normal work. Fail-safe and satisfactory operation of our
products for several decades of daily use is confirmed by
long-term warranty and certificates issued by international
institutes.

Safety & Functionality
The K-4 Thermo PLUS sectional garage door is a perfect
solution for residential buildings. It has been designed in
such a way that it does not limit space in the garage and in
front of it. Moving sections slide on the rails vertically
upwards and conceal under the ceiling. Such characteristics
of the door operation allows for installation of the product
in buildings with limited space in their vicinity, e.g.
buildings adjacent directly to the street. The K-4 Thermo
PLUS doors can be operated manually or by using automatic
control. In all K-4 Thermo PLUS doors moving elements are
covered, thus eliminating the risk of e.g. pinching or
injury to the child's hand. All garage doors are equipped as
standard with centrifugal system protecting from spring
brake. Reliable locking system by means of the handle or
the automatic control offers effective protection against
burglary. Such designed garage door gives sense of comfort
and ensures security for ts users.

Up and Over Garage Doors
series
KRONway up and over garage door are retractable type of construction. Doors are opening
along horizontal tracks inside the garage and travel back into the garage space when
opened. Retractable mechanisms are ideally suited for automated operation.
Door is made of hot dip galvanized steel - for better protection against corrosion.
Door frame is made of galvanized steel 1,5mm thick. Door leave frame is also galvanized
and then powder coated for chosen RAL color. Door sheet is made of ribbed steel of
0,45-0,5mm thick, that it is also powder coated or alternatively made of factory
prepainted steel. Steel sheet is welded to steel frame in ultrasonic technology.
Euro black handle on each door is standard. Bolts are connected with lock mechanism with
steel rods.
Door leave is balanced with double springs what allows for easy manual opening and
provide necessary security. Door are balanced with 4 springs - springs after years can be
adjusted keeping proper level of balance.
Ends of tracks are additionally profiled to protect door leave against accidental fall.
Door can be equipped in special mechanism allowing to open lock by garage door opener.

Garage opening size narrower than the door order size:
It is possible to install wider doors to smaller garage opening, and then it is necessary to verify whether the size of left and right jamb (lateral
spaces R5 and L5 – see page 12) is large enough to fit and conceal excess of the garage door. The example above illustrates a situation where the garage
opening width is 2600 mm, while width of the assembled door is 2750 mm.

Garage opening size wider than the door order size:
It is possible to install narrower garage door to the larger garage opening, and then it is necessary to reduce the garage opening width by using, for
example, insulating materials. The example above illustrates a situation where the garage opening width is 2600 mm, while door width is 2500 mm. After
applying insulation with the width of 50 mm on both sides, the garage opening width is 2500 mm. When using insulating materials (e.g. Styrofoam)
thickness of the insulation can have max. between 40 – 50 mm for each side of the door. Thicker layers prevent installation of the garage doors.

Option 5 shows a situation where the garage opening height is 2050 mm, while the door
height is 2125 mm. Required header height in such situation should be at least 225mm.

Garage opening size higher or lower than the size of the assembled door:
It is possible to install standard door to lower or higher garage opening. Like with
the garage opening width, it is necessary to reduce its height by using, for example,
insulating materials or concealing excess of the garage doors behind the header. Option
4 presents a situation where the garage opening height is 2175 mm, while the door height
is 2125 mm. After applying insulation with the height of 55 mm, the standard garage
opening height is achieved – 2125 mm.
