Four Huawei TP3106 telepresence units. The TP3106 units use Huawei's self-developed Androidbased touch panel that provide one touch access to common conference features.
One Huawei MCU. The MCU, together with the TP3106 telepresence units, passed the
interoperability tests with the existing equipment and delivers a satisfying customer experience.
The four TP3106 telepresence units are deployed in the Li & Fung Group's IT department; another
two telepresence units will be deployed in the future.

Founded in Guangzhou in 1906 as a traditional export trading operation, the Li & Fung Group is now
one of the most important multinational supply chain manager across regions and countries in the
world, such as Mainland China, Hong Kong, and United States. The Li & Fung Group are already using
videoconferencing systems for remote communication and collaboration. The current challenges are:
The existing Cisco and Polycom videoconferencing products lack interoperability, affecting the
communication experience.
The new system must allow MCUs to smoothly scale and upgrade, enabling the company to deploy
new telepresence or videoconferencing rooms.
The new system must be standards-based and open, able to seamlessly interoperate with existing
videoconferencing systems.

Huawei TP3106 telepresence units are easier to operate than the customer's existing Cisco systems.
Huawei telepresence units save the customer's bandwidth resources and netowrk-associated costs,
with 768 kbit/s required for 720p and 1 Mbit/s for 1080p.
Huawei's MCUs and telepresence units are standards-based with excellent interoperability, providing
a foundation for system convergence and scaling as well as protecting the customer's investment.
