Year 6, 7 & 8 (2015) Batting & Bowling Specialist Cricket Clinic Open to students coming to Terrace in 2015 An invitation is extended for any student going into Yrs 6, 7 &8 in 2015 who are interested in cricket to attend a Specialist Batting Clinic during the December School Holidays. The number of students able to participate in the clinic will be capped at 50 and names will be accepted purely on a first in basis. • • • • BATTING SESSIONS Watching the ball Balance Top hand activation skills Contact the ball late with control • • • • • • BOWLING SESSIONS Run up Gather Back foot landing Delivery stride Release Follow through. The clinic involves skill work on the technical aspects of the game and sessions will include a skills test for both batting and fielding. COST OF THE CLINIC: $70.00 per person. WHEN: Wednesday 3 December – Friday 5 December 6.45am – 9.00am WHERE: Victoria Park training facility – Gilchrist Ave, Herston WHAT TO WEAR: Players should wear their College sports uniform/ training attire or club cricket clothing for the 3 days. They should also bring a wide brimmed hat, water bottle, sunscreen, rubber soled shoes and their own cricket equipment including protector (box).
