A regional bank headquartered in
the U.S. mid-west and servicing the
commercial and retail needs of more
than 300 regional banking offices, was
focused on growing its small business
banking loan portfolio. Processing
loans for seven regions across five
states presented real challenges, with
loan processors and underwriters
accessing multiple systems for each
credit application.
In order to handle the increased
volumes, remain competitive, and
maintain customer satisfaction, the
institution needed to streamline and
consolidate their small business credit
processes. “We needed the right
company to help us build not just a
solution, but the best solution,” stated
the Credit Delivery Manager for
business loans. Misys FusionBanking

entire workflow of processing small
business loans to be improved.
The multi-phase project began with
the creation of core components and
basic system functions, to accept
and process small business loans
and applications of up to $3 million.
