New Telekurs iD 8.9 display features
We are pleased to announce a number of
enhancements in our Telekurs iD Java display. This
document provides you with initial display functions,
most notably you will get to know the new:
• Enhancements Autocomplete search
• Additional ProChart features
• AWP Analyser
elekurs iD, our all-inclusive display, is ideally suited for
T
monitoring markets and screening investments. This
intelligent display application delivers market data,
business news and a whole host proprietary financial
analysis for wealth managers, securities administrators
and asset managers.

PACKAGES
Quick search for several different asset classes
DESCRIPTION:
The autocomplete feature helps you
to efficiently search for instruments.
• Easier understanding of the
results through better layout.
• All market identifiers such as
ISIN’s, Valoren, securities, etc.
can be used to search for all
assets.
HOW TO ACCESS:
Enter at least three characters of
the search term in the command
line.
(Only valid if you select “Search for Quotes”
in the context menu.)
The regular command line search
still exists by using the “Enter” key.

HOW TO ACCESS:
By selecting “Custom” in the top left
drop down menu.

be shown directly in the chart.
HOW TO ACCESS:
Select your instruments and drag
and drop them into the big cross
icon within ProChart.

percent / log mode

DESCRIPTION:
If you have set the period to be
Intraday and Tick, the Line Chart
and the Last Price Display are
updating.
HOW TO ACCESS:
By selecting “Intraday” and “Tick” in
the top left drop down menu.
Note: not all types of diagram are suitable for intraday charts

Display of Candle Patterns
DESCRIPTION:
In technical analysis, a candlestick
pattern is a movement in prices
shown graphically on a candlestick
chart. There are 61 recognised
patterns that can be split into simple
and complex patterns.
HOW TO ACCESS:
In the context menu of the ProChart
select “Candle Patterns”.

PACKAGES
Innovation with diverse visualization options
DESCRIPTION:
The AWP Analyser provides the
data basis for a graphical and
statistical analysis and preparation
of analyst recommendations. The
product covers SPI shares that are
covered by analysts.
(Available only in Switzerland.)
HOW TO ACCESS:
The viewer can be accessed via
right click, then “Analysis” and there
you’ll find the new “AWP Analyser”.
Once open, you can double-click or
drag & drop from a list to view other
instrument analysis.

‘Open All History’ opens an ‘All
Sources’ with additionally history
valuations data from all the trading
places during the past month.
HOW TO ACCESS:
Single click with the right mouse
button and select ‘Open All History’.

PACKAGES
New Zero Coupon Yield Curves from ICAP
DESCRIPTION:
Yield curves are available for
various currencies and risk classes.
You can also combine a number of
yield curves in a viewer yourself.
New we also provide “Zero Coupon
Yield Curves” from ICAP.
(Data available as of end of Nov 2014)
HOW TO ACCESS:
By using the “New – Yield Curve
List” in the menu, you can open a
blank “Yield Curve List” viewer.

Quick Company Analysis with snapshot widgets
DESCRIPTION:
When working with company lists, a
series of small widget icons is
always displayed next to each
company name.
HOW TO ACCESS:
When hovering the mouse of any
such icon, a widget pops up,
showing key information about the
corresponding company, helping
users to get a quick understanding
of its activity and its financial
performance without having to
select it.
The following legend explains the meaning of each icon:

THE NEW RELEASE?

Guidance in case of problems when starting the release
If you have problems to start the new Telekurs iD Java version 8.9, it might
be that the old version is still existing in your browser and/or Java cache.

Please follow the procedures on the following three slides to delete the
Java cache and the browser cache on your PC or Notebook with MS
Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Deleting temporary internet files in IE (1/2)
1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows
4. Click on the Tab General  Browsing
history  Delete…
2. Open a new Internet Explorer window
3. Click on Tools  Internet Options
