The objective of the session is to present the contributions of all partners to the new partnership
programme designed to support Ethiopia’s industrialization.
The expected outcome of the session is the validation and endorsement of the partnership programme
framework, and the formalization of the coordination mechanism for implementation.

1:30 p.m. Session 4 – ISID for All: The way forward
The objective of the session is to strengthen the partnership dialogue between UNIDO, recipient
Governments, DFIs, other development agencies, the private sector, and donors to scale up ISID
investment in developing countries.
The expected outcome of the session is to gain momentum and a better understanding of UNIDO’s
partnership-based approach in order to define concrete working models of cooperation between
Governments, UNIDO and stakeholders for promoting ISID investment in line with post-2015 SDGs.
• Lessons learned from the two pilot countries;
• Feedback on UNIDO’s partnership-oriented pilot approach to ISID from Member States and
Partners (DFIs, bilateral agencies, private sector, UN organizations).
• Views of Member States interested in becoming ISID countries of the UNIDO Partnership
Programme;
• Proposals from donors on support for UNIDO’s partnership-oriented pilot approach to ISID;
• Conclusions from discussions and exchanges, and proposals for the way forward to enhance
partnerships for ISID investments at national and/or regional levels.
