Dear Parishioners:
Soon we will be celebrating once again Thanksgiving, and,
as always, the good people of our parish are always there
to lend a helping hand to assist those in our area who are
less fortunate than we. On Saturday, November 22nd, we
will again be giving food baskets to those in our area who
may not enjoy the simple pleasure of purchasing a
Thanksgiving dinner for their families. Thanks to the
goodness of so many of you, many will be able to enjoy a
hardy and healthy turkey dinner provided by you. All
food is to be collected and brought to the parish center this
weekend so that the baskets can be prepared to be
distributed on the 22nd. THANK YOU to all of you who
make this possible.
This coming Saturday, November 22nd, at 5:30pm, our
Children’s Choir will be providing the music for the vigil
Mass of the Feast of Christ the King. The children of our
parish have been practicing for several weeks in
preparation for this special Mass. Please join us in
celebrating Christ our King at this Mass with the children
of our parish.
A special word of thanks to Msgr. Paul and all those who
assisted in our Discovering Christ program. This coming
Tuesday will be the final session and so many people have
been brought closer to the Lord and to their faith. Many
thanks to all who participated and to those who served.
Sincerely in the Lord,
Fr. Joe
Parish AAA Challenge Remains
“When I called, You Answered”. It is not too late to donate to the
2014 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. We thank
all who have already contributed and those still
fulfilling their pledges. All donations whether
large or small are welcome. Your donation can
provide services and touch lives in ways that
are beyond the power of an individual parish to
do effectively. Appeal envelopes are at the
back of Church or at the Parish Office. Donations may be
charged to your credit card. Every gift is needed and welcome!
See the video presentation of the many good works of the appeal at: http://www.rcanaaa.org/video.html.

Stewardship Reflection:
Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
November 16 2014
“Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been
faithful over a little, I will set you over much...” –Matthew 25:21
God expects us to nurture and develop the gifts He has given
us and then generously give back with increase. He doesn’t
want us to waste or hoard the gifts He has given us; He expects us to grow our gifts, use them wisely and be generous
with them.
Come be nourished at the Lord’s table.
God is Waiting for You!

Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
here at Immaculate
Sat., Nov. 29th 11am–7pm and Sun., Nov. 30th 8am–2pm
The missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is an
exact replica of St. Juan Diego’s tilma and has been
blessed by the Bishops of Mexico to travel the world to
bring about conversions and to promote the pro‐life
movement. ╬ In 1531, “Our Lady of Guadalupe” was
the first Marian apparition to be officially recognized by our
Church. Juan Diego, a Mexican convert received messages of
comfort, grace and conversion for the Mexican people suffering
so greatly at the time. The Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
brought peace to Mexico when the Aztecs and the Spanish were
on the verge of war. Mary’s Image led to the conversion of millions of native Mexicans from a culture of death to a culture of
life and from paganism to Catholicism. ╬ Come to venerate
Our Lady of Guadalupe. Place your petitions before Our
Lady. Questions, please contact Christiane Agkpo at 917-5979117. The missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe travels
America thanks to the Don Lynch Apostolates (http://www.jkmi.com/)
