INDULGE AT CORNUCOPIA – AN ELEGANT BLACK TIE EVENING
The 8th Annual Indulge Gala Evening & Auction is an elegant black tie
event being held Friday, November 14th, 2014 as part of Cornucopia,
presented by BlueShore Financial.
Hosted in the Emerald Ballroom at the Westin Resort and Spa, host sponsor of the event, funds raised during
the evening support the Whistler Health Care Foundation to enhance the provision of health care in Whistler
and neighboring Sea to Sky communities. The evening also celebrates and acknowledges sponsors, donors and
volunteers who have supported the Foundation throughout the year. Over the last 4 years, Indulge has raised
over $400,000 for the Foundation!
Guests to this must attend evening are welcomed on the red carpet to a champagne reception followed by a
four course dinner. Each course is carefully paired with selected wines sponsored by some of the most
celebrated domestic and international wineries.
The evening is enhanced with a silent auction, with items generously donated by the business and artist
community. Sparkling jewelry, local art, restaurant and adventure certificates, and exclusive getaway trips are
all up for grabs during the evening. There is sure to be something for everyone on the auction tables.
Tickets to this event are limited to 250 guests with business and community leaders
from the greater Whistler community, the corridor and Vancouver in attendance. As
the only black tie dinner-dancing event during Cornucopia 2014, we are anticipating
a sold out event!

Terms of Agreement
This agreement is effective as of the date signed and shall remain
effective until the “Event” ends on 14 November 2014. This
agreement defines the terms under which WHCF and The
“Sponsor” (as listed above) enter into a sponsorship agreement
for the Indulge Gala Evening & Auction Event.
Limited License
WHCF grants the Sponsor a limited license to use any of the
artwork on the Event site for the purpose of promoting the Event
and linking to the Event site. Sponsor grants WHCF a limited
license to use Sponsor’s logo in event promotional material and
on the Event site.
Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall become effective on the date signed and will
remain in effect until all responsibilities set out are fulfilled. The
parties acknowledge that they will use their best good faith efforts
to negotiate and resolve subsequent issues that may arise from
this Agreement as a result of unforeseen occurrences and that
may alter the conditions of this Agreement.
Cancellation Policy
This agreement is effective as of the date signed below and shall remain
effective until the Event ends on 14 November 2014, or until terminated by
either party. All requests for refunds must be in writing, received, and
confirmed by WHCF 60 days prior to the event. Contracts cancelled up to 60
days of the event will be issued a refund based on a pro-rated basis. If
sponsoring promotional items, once the contract is signed and the item is in
production, there shall be no refunds. WHCF may terminate this agreement at
any time by notifying the sponsor in writing or by email. Upon such
termination, WHCF shall return to the Sponsor that portion of the Sponsorship
fee pro-rated for the time remaining in the contract.

How Your Generous Auction Donations Benefit Our Communities
Founded in 1995, our mandate is to raise funds for equipment and facilities for health care in the Sea to Sky corridor, and to
advocate and raise awareness for improved health care. The Whistler Health Care Foundation strives to be the leading resource
in the Sea to Sky Corridor for education, prevention, and treatment of sports
related injuries.
Some equipment we have provided to date includes state of the art diagnostic
equipment, such as and ultrasound unit, c-arm (portable x-ray), teleradiology
(computerized imaging) equipment, a bedside ultrasound, and a CT scanner.
Your sponsorship allows us to keep the equipment in the corridor updated with
the latest technology, allowing for accurate assessment and diagnosis in a timely
manner. We thank you for your support and contributions which allow us to
continue providing these necessary and often unfunded medical tools.

Along with Indulge, there are many ways that both individuals and businesses can be involved with the Whistler Health Care
Foundation.
Volunteer
There are several volunteer opportunities from assisting with events to being
involved on the Board of Directors.
Member/Supporter
By becoming a WHCF member you will have take the opportunity to participate
in information forums and debates about health care issues and lobbying for
optimal health care for Whistler residents and visitors. The membership year
commences April 1st and annual fees for adults over 18 years are $10.

The Indulge Committee
The organizing committee is appointed by the Board of the Whistler Health Care Foundation (WHCF) and is comprised of
community leaders and dedicated volunteers committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing in our communities. The
committee is a fun, dedicated and creative group eager to provide an evening to remember.
