2.&Wardens’&report&(with&some&general&business&items):&&!
• The!wardens!are!in!the!process!of!convening!a!subHcommittee!for!looking!at!meeting!
the!long!term!housing!needs!for!the!Rector.!
• Parish!Council!approved!the!rental!of!53!Edgeworth!David!Ave,!Waitara,!for!the!
incoming!Rector’s!accommodation.!(after!the!Stanleys!move!out!)!
• The!wardens!tabled!a!draft!budget!for!2015,!recognising!the!ministry!needs!for!2015.!!
They!shared!their!hope!that!all!ministry!costs!next!year!would!be!able!to!be!funded!
from!offertories.!!Currently,!we!are!drawing!on!some!of!our!savings!(as!planned!from!
previous!years)!to!meet!extended!ministry!needs.!!We!hope!to!build!our!special!funds!
for!“staffing”!and!“space”!for!the!needs!of!the!very!near!future,!seeing!the!continued!
growth!in!Waitara!Church!and!Waitara!as!a!suburb.!!!Parish!Council!will!continue!to!
discuss!the!budget!next!month!with!the!hope!of!finalising!it!in!December!or!January.!

• Blinds!–!to!be!replaced!in!the!hall,!New!BBQ!cover!and!some!required!music!
equipment!to!be!purchased,!new!Church!hoses!have!been!donated,!and!the!
wardens!are!looking!into!installing!a!speaker!in!the!foyer!for!larger!events.!
