will be under construction throughout the 2014 season in the Stadium Southeast Lot. Fans are encouraged to exercise extra caution around the construction zone on game days. Ticket Resale Policy Tickets may not be resold within 100 yards of any Carter-Finley Stadium gate. Ticket resale can occur along the roads that form a perimeter around the stadium: Trinity Road, Gate B Road/Peter Karmanos Jr. Drive and Steve Stroud Way. ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME INFORMATION The 2014 Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will be held on Saturday, December 6th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC. When eligible, ticket applications will be mailed and emailed to all Wolfpack Club members. To receive priority seating, applications must be submitted by Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Tickets ordered by the application deadline will be shipped via FedEx on Monday, December 1st. ALCOHOL POLICY • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited inside Carter-Finley Stadium. Any attempt to bring alcohol into the stadium is a violation of facility policy and may result in denial of admittance, ejection, arrest or ticket revocation. • Persons of legal age may consume malt beverages and unfortified wine in Carter-Finley Stadium parking facilities in connection with football tailgating. • Complete rules regarding alcohol consumption at NC State Athletic events are posted at: http://policies.ncsu. edu/policy/pol-04-20-02 • Alcoholic Beverage kegs, spirituous and mixed liquor are prohibited in all permitted parking areas including vendor or university sanctioned events. • Carter-Finley Stadium visitors shall carry a picture ID in accordance with University regulations. All persons consuming alcohol in the parking lots shall carry a driver’s license on them at all times. 2 ANIMALS Animals are not permitted inside of Carter-Finley Stadium with the exception of service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Please make sure you have any necessary documentation, credentials or identification. ATMS ATMs are located at Gate 2, Gate 9 and the North End Zone Concourse. For any ATM issues, visit the nearest Guest Services Station. BAGS Wolfpack fans are encouraged not to bring any unnecessary bags or belongings into Carter-Finely Stadium. Express lines for fans without bags (or with clear plastic bags) are available to speed entry into the venue. Bags larger than 14” x 14” and all backpacks are prohibited at Carter-Finley Stadium. Diaper bags are permitted only if accompanied by an infant. Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs. All bags are subject to search. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized bags to their vehicles. NC State University cannot safeguard bags not permitted into the stadium. BIRTHDAY WISHES Wolfpack fans have the opportunity to wish friends and family a Happy Birthday free of charge at home football games by having their name appear on the video board. All requests must be submitted online at www.GoPack. com/birthdays at least 72 hours prior to the event. (Due to in-game events scheduling, no exceptions can be made to this policy). In the case of an adverse weather situation, please seek immediate shelter. FAMILY RESTROOMS There are 4 family restrooms located on the North Endzone concourse by Sections 218 & 225. For nursing mothers, please visit the Customer Service booth located at Gate 4, to receive assistance to the designated area. FIELD ACCESS Only authorized personnel, ages 16 and older, with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before, during, or after a game. Vehicles are not permitted to line up on public roads prior to the gates opening. Unattended vehicles in the roadway or public right-of-way are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense. All parking on the grounds of Carter-Finley Stadium is reserved and requires a valid permit for entry. General public parking is located in the Westchase Office Complex ($15) (Westchase Blvd. and Blue Ridge Rd.) and NC State Vet School parking deck ($15), as well as in private, independently-run paid lots at the Wade Office Park I (Edwards Mill Rd. between Trinity Rd. and Wade Ave.) and Trinity Park Office Complex (Trinity Rd. between Edwards Mill Rd. and Nowell Rd.). If someone is in your space, please do not park in another space. Notify a parking attendant or call McLaurin Parking at (919) 749-1405. Bus Parking Bus parking will be located at Cardinal Gibbons High School off Edwards Mill Road. Passes can be purchased in advance from NC State or on game day at Cardinal Gibbons for $50. Handicapped Parking Handicapped parking is available for purchase on a priority basis through the Wolfpack Club. Fans with special needs can also pay ($15) on game day to park at Cardinal-Gibbons High School and ride a shuttle to and from Dail Plaza North. Vehicles are required to display a disability placard. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, pregame, and postgame times will vary due to pedestrian and vehicular egress traffic. The shuttle only travels to and from the Dail Plaza North. It will NOT take fans to the West or East entrance gates. Riders of the shuttle will receive a boarding pass that should be shown to board the return shuttle after the game. RV Parking For non-reserved RV parking information, please contact the NC State Fairgrounds at (919) 612-6767. The lot opens five (5) hours before kick-off. PROHIBITED ITEMS & BEHAVIOR The ACC promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. 7 Rowdy, threatening, or inconsiderate behavior such as profane and abusive language, fighting or drunkenness shall not be tolerated within any tailgate area or within Carter-Finley Stadium. RE-ENTRY/PASS OUTS • Pass Outs are available, at all gates beginning with five (5) minutes remaining on the game clock in the second (2nd) quarter. • Fans re-entering the stadium must be in possession of their ticket AND the pass out stub they received at the gate prior to exiting. • Upon re-entry, all persons and belongings are subject to search by an event staff member. • Please allow appropriate time to assure you are reseated prior to second half kick-off. • The issuing of Pass Outs ends at the start of the third (3rd) quarter. 8 SIGNS/BANNERS/FLAGS Signs/banners are permitted within Carter-Finley Stadium only if they meet the following guidelines: • The sign/banner is not larger than 3’ x 2’. • The sign/banner does not impair the view of any guest in the stadium or block any existing signage or vent. • Information contained on the sign/banner cannot be construed as vulgar, offensive, graphic, or outside of what the community standard would consider in “good taste.” • Signs/Banners are not permitted to be hung anywhere inside the stadium. • Be prepared to return any prohibited sign/banner/pole/stick to your vehicle. • Game management personnel reserves the right to confiscate signs, banners and flags that are in violation of stadium policy, that interfere with another guest’s view, or create a safety issue. SMOKING In accordance with North Carolina state law and NC State University policies, Carter-Finley Stadium has been designated a non-smoking venue. A smoke-free environment inside athletic venues is the norm within the Atlantic Coast Conference and nationally. Smoking in any form through the use of tobacco products (pipes, cigars and cigarettes) or “vaping” with e-cigarettes, is prohibited in Vaughn Towers, in the seating bowl, on the concourse and in restrooms. Violators of this policy will be ejected from the stadium. In an effort to accommodate all guests, smoking is permitted in the following designated smoking areas at Gates 1, 5 and 11. SPONSORSHIPS All game day sponsorships and promotions, including Fan Zone activities, are coordinated through Wolfpack Sports Properties. STROLLERS Fans are permitted to bring folding/collapsible strollers into Carter-Finley Stadium. Large, non-collapsible strollers are prohibited. Strollers must be taken to a stroller drop-off location on the North Concourse (Gates 1214), West Customer Service station (Gate 4), or East Concourse (Gate 7). You will be provided with a claim ticket that must be returned to pick up your stroller. NC State assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged stroller or items left in strollers. TAILGATING POLICIES The Department of Athletics would like to remind those attending Wolfpack home football games of the following: • Donors should obtain written permission from NC State Athletic Facilities, (919) 515-7369, before making any physical changes to their assigned parking space. Permanent structures are not allowed in the parking areas and are subject to removal without notice. • Only beer and unfortified wine may be enjoyed in Carter-Finley Stadium parking lots. • Beer kegs are prohibited in all stadium parking areas. • Tents must be confined to your parking space and not interfere with adjacent parking spaces, impede travel lanes or create safety hazards. • Tents must be flame-retardant. Do not set up tents near hot coals or open flame. • Barbeque grills are permitted. Open-flame fires are prohibited. • Charcoal grills should be extinguished and coals disposed of properly. 9 • Clean up your area before entering the stadium to watch the game so it’s safe for you and others. • Please recycle your cans and bottles. Look for the WE Recycle bins throughout the parking lots and on the stadium concourse. • Tailgating activities must not interfere with or obstruct adjacent parking spaces or travel lanes. • Please be considerate of your neighbor regarding loud music. (NO AMPLIFIED SOUND) • Secure your tailgate area before and during the game to protect your belongings. NC State assumes no responsibility for any lost or stolen items. • Be mindful that there is moving traffic within the parking lots. • Please use caution when throwing balls in the parking lots for the safety of all guests and vehicles. • Vehicles parked on curbs or other undesignated areas will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. • No unauthorized vehicles in the parking lots. This includes, but is not limited to: golf carts, motorized scooters, beer trolleys, unauthorized sponsor/promotional vehicles, etc. • The distribution of promotional items on university property is prohibited unless prior approval has been received. • All football patrons are subject to University policies and procedures. • Let’s show Wolfpack hospitality to our visitors at all times. GAME DAY TICKETING • The Ammons Family Ticket Center is the game day ticket operations center and is located on the West side of the stadium between Gates 4 and 5. • A satellite ticket booth is located at Gate 8 to address ticket scanning issues only 45 minutes prior to kick off. • Ticket windows open two (2) hours prior to kick-off and close at halftime. • Credit cards are accepted, but cash is preferred. TICKET POLICIES • Tickets must be presented at gate. One ticket required per person. • Children two (2) and under are permitted without a ticket, but are required to sit in lap of parent/guardian. • A photo ID is required to claim will call tickets; no exceptions. 10 TICKET SCANNING Digital ticketing technology provides increased convenience and security for all ticket holders through the use of barcodes on every ticket. Tickets will be scanned upon entry into Carter-Finley Stadium. Digital ticketing provides the following benefits for season ticket holders and single-game ticket holders: • Option to print-at-home tickets received directly to your email (not required). • Increased security by reducing the number of counterfeit tickets. • Opportunity to transfer tickets electronically from a season ticket package to a fellow NC State fan or family member. TICKET REPRINTING The NC State Athletic Ticket Office can replace tickets that have been lost, stolen or damaged. Tickets may be reprinted for the ticket account holder only. All reprinted tickets will be held at Will Call. Ticket resale can occur along the roads that form a perimeter around the stadium: Trinity Road, Gate B Road/Peter Karmanos Jr. Drive and Steve Stroud Way. TOWED CARS Illegally parked cars will be towed to the Gate D entrance of Carter-Finley Stadium. Vehicle pick up cost is $100.00 for each tow at the owner’s expense. If you need assistance, contact the nearest parking attendant or call McLaurin Parking at (919) 749-1405. TRAFFIC INFORMATION Arrival to the Game All parking gates will open five (5) hours in advance of kick-off. No early entry is allowed for the patron parking areas. Vehicles are not permitted to line up on public roads prior to the gates opening. Unattended vehicles in the roadway or public right-of-way are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense. All Stadium and Arena Parking Lots can be accessed from any parking gate listed: • Edwards Mill Road • Trinity Road (Gates A, B, and C) • Westchase Blvd • Wade Avenue 11 Trinity Road Access The parking areas listed as Faculty / Staff / Varsity Club, the Trinity Lot, TX Lot, and State Fairgrounds Lot require entry from Trinity Road. ALL PERMIT LOTS REQUIRE A DISPLAYED PARKING PERMIT FOR ENTRY. PLEASE ENSURE YOU PRESENT THE PROPER PERMIT FOR GAME DAY ENTRY INTO THE PARKING AREAS. DEPARTURE FROM THE GAME Please note the departure path for each gate is determined in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies to maximize safety and efficiency. Stadium Gate A – will depart by turning left onto Trinity Road Stadium Gate B – vehicular traffic will depart by going straight onto Youth Center Road for a minimum of 30 minutes after a game conclusion. From Youth Center Road vehicular traffic is to turn right on Hillsborough Street then either left onto Powell Drive to Western Blvd. OR continue on Hillsborough Street to Western Blvd. After 30 minutes egress vehicular traffic from Gate B will be allowed to turn right onto Trinity Road or continue straight onto Youth Center Drive Stadium Gate C- Two lanes will be turned right onto Trinity Road. No right turn is allowed onto Edwards Mill Road from Trinity after the game. Rather this Trinity Road traffic is to either turn left onto Edwards Mill Road to Hwy. 54 and right to I-40 or continue straight on Trinity Road to turn left onto Corporate Center Drive and turn right to I-40. Stadium Gate E – Edwards Mill Road – three lanes will all turn right to Wade Avenue or Edwards Mill Road north. Stadium Gate F- Westchase Blvd. – two lanes will exit left on Blue Ridge Road and to Wade Avenue or Blue Ridge Road north Faculty/Staff/ Varsity Lot – exit via the Stadium Parking Areas to Westchase Blvd. or to Gate A OR through the TX Lot. The roadway onto Trinity is blocked at this lot during egress due to the overload of Trinity Traffic during egress. Trinity Lot- follow the directional staff to turn left onto Trinity Road TX Lot– follow the directional staff to turn left onto Trinity Road Cardinal Gibbons Lot – follow the directional staff to exit the back of Cardinal Gibbons to Trinity Road and turn right to Hwy. 54 and I-40 Thank you for your cooperation during egress operations. The State Highway Patrol is appreciative of your efforts of cooperation for a safe departure from each football game. TV BROADCAST INFORMATION Television broadcast times are controlled by the ACC’s television partners and are generally announced either 12 or 6 days prior to the game. Game times will be widely publicized as soon as they are available on GoPack.com and on athletics social media accounts (@PackFootball on twitter and on the NC State Athletics Facebook page). 12 UMBRELLAS Umbrellas are prohibited inside Carter-Finley Stadium for the comfort and safety of all fans. No storage of this item is available. Please be prepared to use rain gear or ponchos during inclement weather. WALK OF CHAMPIONS Join the NC State band, cheerleaders and dance team in welcoming the Wolfpack football team to Carter-Finley Stadium 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. The Walk of Champions will take place on the access road between the Motor Home Lot and Stadium East Lot, with the team entering the stadium at Gate 6. WOLF PUP LOCATOR PROGRAM At the beginning of each NC State home football game, parents/guardians can stop by the Fan Zone, a Wolf Assist Tent location, Customer Service Booth or from a police officer inside the stadium and parking lots, and fill out a Wolf Pup Locator wristband with important information that will be placed on the child’s wrist. If a child becomes separated from their caregiver or group, that child can approach a police officer or Carter-Finley Stadium staff member, who will communicate with event management that a lost child has been identified. The Wolf Pup Locator wristband will be used by law enforcement or event management personnel to reunite the child with their parent or guardian. Safety Tips • When possible, all parties should remain together within their groups. • Designate a meeting location in case someone gets separated from the family/group. • Escort all children to restroom facilities. • Agree on a time to leave the event. • If separated from the group, go to a police officer or event staff member. • Police Operations is located between Gates 4 and 5 and can be reached at 919-513-0067. • Don’t wander off from the group or explore isolated areas. • Report all suspicious activity to a police officer or call 911. 13 12 11 12
