Celebrate Christmas is a Denison Chamber event co-hosted by The Herald Democrat.
Crafters/vendors: will be able to show and sell their crafts inside the Denison
Chamber building from 4:30 - 7:30 pm and must be set up and ready by 4:00
pm on December 9th. Table space is limited to a 6 foot table provided by the
vendor and should be festive in display. Celebrate Christmas is open to
Chamber Members, their employees and their guests. We are looking for a festive feeling and are encouraging like vendors to participate.
(The event will be crowded yet fun!)
Chili Teams: Chili will be offered for free to guests and crafters. Chamber
Chili Teams are welcome to setup after 1:00 pm in the parking areas between the
Denison Chamber and The Herald Democrat buildings. Lighting will consist
of overhead Christmas lights – Bring your portable propane cooking setup, extra lighting and Chili ingredients. (Bring an awning if it’s snowing…..!)
Please prepare at least 3 gallons of Chili to be shared and judged.
The Chili Team Winners will be announced that night!
General release:
As an inducement to the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce and the Herald Democrat to allow participation in its Celebrate Christmas Event, our Group does
hereby agree to and assume any and all risks attendant to any incident, action, occurrence or activity occurring on public, private or other property, which affects
them in any manner whatsoever, and does hereby release the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce, The Herald Democrat, and the City of Denison, their officials,
employees and agents, in their public and private capacities, from any liability, claim, suit, demand or cause of action which may arise in any manner from any
participation in Celebrate Christmas at the Chamber. I certify that I, as the person in charge of the Group, have read the foregoing instrument, understand its terms
and conditions, make this waiver voluntarily, and have not relied upon any representation made by the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce or The Herald Democrat, or the City of Denison, or its officials, agents, or employees in signing this release. I further certify that I am an adult, am in sound mental health, and fully
capable of executing this waiver of liability.
