Baptisms
Parents are asked to contact the Office to schedule a meeting.
Weddings
Couples are asked to contact the Office a minimum of six months prior to the anticipated
wedding.
Ministry to the Sick and Homebound
Please notify us of any parishioner who is ill at home. Due to privacy laws, priests/deacons
must be asked by family members to visit parishioners in the hospital or nursing home.
Please advise us of those in need of the Church’s ministry.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
During the month of November all the
deceased loved ones of our parishioners
will be remembered during all Masses.
If you have not already done so, please
record the names of all your beloved
deceased in our Books of Remembrance
at the entrances to our Cathedrals.
GIVING TREE
The Cathedrals will once again sponsor a Giving Tree
for Christmas to provide gifts for clients of Lund
Family Center and Joseph’s House. Joseph’s House
is requesting Gift Certificates to Walmart in
denominations of $10, $20, or $30. The Lund Family
Center is requesting gifts of children’s clothing, toys
or games. The Giving Tree will be set up with the
Lund tags by Sun., Nov.23rd, and those unwrapped
gifts must be returned by Mon., Dec. 8th. Walmart
tags will be put out beginning Sat. & Sun., Nov. 29th
& 30th and should be returned by Sun., Dec. 14th.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious Education students who have been preparing
to celebrate the healing Sacrament of Reconciliation
for the first time will do so with their families on Sat.,
Nov. 22nd, in St. Joseph Lower Church. These
students and their families will gather in the Lower
Church at 8:45 a.m.
Please pray for them to
experience God’s mercy, love and forgiveness.

JOSEPH’S HOUSE
Greetings! If you have not done so already, please grab
one (or more) of the paper bags at the entrances of
the Churches and fill with the items on the attached
list. We have 52 families that need our assistance
with food for Thanksgiving this year. Bags are due
back Sun., Nov. 23rd.

VT CATHOLIC WOMEN’S RETREAT
To take place Sat., Nov. 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. at Holy Family/St. Lawrence Parish Center.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served at 8:30
a.m. and a buffet luncheon at noon.

A “Good Will” branch of Chappell’s is to recycle
donated flowers and “Event Flowers” back into the
community for the enjoyment of others. Event flowers
are fresh flowers that were designed for an event and
then normally discarded. Chappell’s picks up the
flowers, redesigns them and delivers them to local
nursing homes, non-profits, hospitals, churches, Vt.
Respite House, Hope Lodge, schools and assisted
living facilities. We thank Chappell’s for their
donations to our Churches.
