The mission of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School is to provide a Catholic education that forms the mind through the Holy Spirit. Our challenge as educators is to keep abreast of the ever-changing technologies that will give our
students the critical thinking skills that are the keys to success. Your generous donations have enabled us to continue to provide the highest quality education to all of our students. Live Auction Rules
1. The live auction will begin at approximately 9:00 pm.
2. To enter your bid, you must raise your bid number, directing a signal
to the Auctioneer.
3. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the buyer. In the event of a dispute, the Auctioneer shall have sole and
final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and
resell the item in dispute.
4. Each successful bid will be recorded by an Auction Official and
entered on the buyer’s auction account to be paid at the end of the
evening.
5. The Cashier’s Room will be closed during the Live Auction.
6. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Auction items, except where specified, are
not exchangeable, refundable or transferable. Everything is sold “as is”.

Catholic School are not responsible for any discrepancies that may

Silent Auction & Sign-Up Party Rules
Please note: bidder must be present for Sign-up Parties.
1. Silent Auction & Sign-Up Party tables will be open for bidding at 7:00 pm.
Everyone attending the event will be given a bid number at the registration table.
2. Silent Auction items have bid sheets prominently displayed. Persons desiring to
bid must do so by placing their bar code and bid amount on the bid sheet. Each item has
a minimum opening bid clearly stated, along with minimum bid increase increments.
Each succeeding bid must equal or exceed the minimum raise stated on the bid sheet to
constitute a valid bid. Bids that do not meet the minimum bid raise will be disqualified.
3. Sign-Up Parties have a set face value for purchase of a place at the event. Persons
desiring to purchase a place at the event must do so by placing their bar code on the sign
-up sheet. Once all slots for an event are filled, the event will be closed.
The Sign-Up Party table will close at 9:30 p.m.
4. Your bid is a contract to buy. The bidder is financially responsible for the use of his or
her bid number.
5. Silent Auction tables will close at 9:30 pm. The highest bid certified by an
Auction Official shall constitute the winning bid. Auction Officials will circle the winning
bid on each bid sheet, collect, and take them to the check out room. NO additional bids
will be taken once the table-closing announcement has been made. If there is active bidding in progress, the Auction Official has sole discretion as to that item’s closing time.
The Auction Official has sole discretion to determine the successful bidder in the event
of a dispute.
6. All items must be paid for in full and picked up by midnight the night of the event.
We will accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover card. Checks should be
made payable to St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School.
7. After making your payment, take your receipt to the merchandise pick-up area to receive the purchased items from the Auction Official. A copy of the receipt serves as verification of your purchase.

10. Eat, Pray, Love—Decorative serving tray with the children’s faces in jewels,
surrounded by the phrase “Eat, Pray, Love”. Created by: Ms. Ramos’ PreK-3

11. St. Clare Cross— Red, White and Clear glass cubes and natural stone were
used to create this lovely cross with the St. Clare Logo embedded in the center. Created by: Mrs. Mixon’s PreK-4 Class
12. Let the Children Come to Me—Wooden cross with children’s fingerprints
creating the “children” displayed on the cross. Created by: Mrs. Scotka’s PreK4 Class
13. Sacred Heart of Jesus—Large cross with raised wood and beading placed
by the children. Created by: Mrs. Panzarella’s Kindergarten Class
14. South Rose Cross—Lovely wooden cross embellished with glass beads and a
stained glass effect. Students placed all the beads themselves and then
prayed over the project. Created by: Mrs. Samperi’s Kindergarten Class
15. All the Different Little Pieces—The children chose special trinkets to represent something about themselves, to be attached to this lovely cross. The
spacing in-between was filled with glass beads. Created by: Ms. Griffin’s
First Grade Class
16. Waves of Grace—Mrs. Clementi’s Second Grade class has artfully placed a
variety of glass bobbles around an iron cross. The scroll work on the cross lent
itself well to a design of gold and silver tones. The students then painted the
wooden base with a faux antique finish. Mrs. Clementi finished the cross with
a mosaic grout and sand mixture and mosaic grout sealant. We’re confident
the warm tones and textures of this cross will enhance any wall. Happy bidding! Created by: Mrs. Clementi’s Second Grade Class
17. Waves of Grace #2—The Extended Day Program students have worked with
Mrs. Clementi to complete a second gold and silver toned cross. This cross has
a more rustic design, but is again grouted with a mosaic plaster and sand
mixture. The students have painted the edges in a warm brown color. The
cross was then sealed with grout sealant. Many hands have worked together
to bring this beautiful cross to you. Enjoy! Created by: St. Clare Extended

18. Footprints in the Sand—Lovely picture frame adorned with beads, surrounding the “footprint” prayer. Created by: Mrs. Clepper’s Third Grade
Class
19. Prayers of the Innocent— A multi-layered cross featuring a variety of different patterns and textures. The cross is embellished with glass beads,
pearls, and other jewel tone beads. Each student was given a bead to pray
over for the entire month of September. A copy of this prayer is attached to
the back of the cross. Created by: Mrs. Janson’s Third Grade Class
20. Rustic Pride - The students created a lovely rustic, wooden American Flag.
The children decorated the handmade frame with gems and individually
painted each of the 50 stars. The flag is made from old fence post wood. This
piece is signed by every child on the back of the frame. A beautiful addition
to any home. Created by: Mr. Caro’s Fourth Grade Class
21. Stations of the Cross - With thought, love, and time, the students designed
a beautiful cross with all of the Stations of the Cross within the main section. Students have written about the stations on the back, in an effort to
help teach about each station’s story. Beautiful beads were carefully picked
and placed around the outer edges, and the cross was painted in effort to emphasize the beauty of this piece. Every part of their cross was created and
completed with love and joy for Him! Created by: Mrs. Wostal’s Fifth Grade

22. Ichthys—The students decorated a beautiful, hand-made, father fish. Each
student participated in creating a thoughtful prayer that has been placed on
the back of this unique piece. The students’ prayer is one requesting that the
Lord give them strength and courage each day, much like the strength and
courage it required to spread God’s word in times of the Ichthys. This beautiful creation can be easily hung indoors or outdoors as a reminder of our strong
Christian faith. Created by: Ms. Katsigiannis’ Fifth Grade Class
23. Wind Song—The essence of peace, the nature of serenity, and presence of
tranquility are all experienced in this one of a kind wind chime treasure. The
students have lovingly created this hand strung, beaded masterpiece in hopes
of bringing the songs of God’s gentle breezes to your garden. Created by:
Mrs. Drummond’s Sixth Grade Class
24. Peaceful Beach—The class has designed a beach themed, beaded picture of
faith. Each student carefully helped place the beads to form a very peaceful
wall hanging. Created by: Mrs. Parrish’s Seventh Grade Class
25. St. Clare Memory Cross—This beautiful St. Clare cross was hand tiled by
our Eighth grade class. Each student participated in the arranging and gluing of the tiles. On the back of the cross, each student shared a favorite
memory while here at St Clare. The memories made at St. Clare will forever
be etched in our hearts. Created by: Mrs. Morales’ Eighth Grade Class
