Our staff works hard to meet the recreational needs of the community. They have planned exciting special events including the Elf on the Shelf Expedition, Soup with Santa, and the Winter Wonderland. New programs introduced include cartooning, adult guitar lessons, archery, and quilting! Pickleball (for the 55+ group) is growing exponentially in Guilford and we have responded by adding more pickleball time in the Community Center. There are numerous opportunities for fitness classes, creative expression, and socialization. Delicious breakfasts and lunches are offered throughout the week. Bus transportation is available for errands and medical appointments as well. As weather permits, there will be supervised ice skating at Mill Pond. When there is sufficient snow, families can enjoy sledding at Bittner Park and Baldwin Middle School. Cross country skiing can also be enjoyed at East River Preserve, and Bittner Park. We encourage you to stay active during the winter months and benefit from the opportunities we provide to meet your recreational needs.
