Inauguration of the Jonasson Centre for Medical Imaging
KTH Royal Institute of Technology has recently, thanks
to a generous donation by Rune and Kerstin Jonasson,
been able to form a new infrastructure centre for medical
imaging. The goal is to support medical research and
development of new methods for diagnostics and
treatment by giving medical and technical researchers
access to advanced equipment for medical imaging and
microscopy. Several pieces of equipment have already been
installed, including an MRI scanner placed at Karolinska
university hospital Huddinge. Welcome!
