with OEG Offshore
UNIQUE Maritime Group, which is one of the world’s leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider, is proud to announce
a joint venture agreement with OEG Offshore (OEG), to offer the rental
and sale of offshore equipment in the Middle East region. The new joint venture company, OEG Unique, which will be based in
UAE and Qatar, will provide local access to OEG’s full range of over
200 individual certified designs of DNV 2.7-1 certified Cargo Carrying
Units (CCUs) and A60 modules across the GCC countries.
The partners have jointly invested over $1 million in new equipment
including offshore containers, baskets, half heights, tanks and waste
equipment rated to the leading international standards DNV 2.7-1 and
EN 12079. The sales and rental fleet is located in bases at Sharjah, UAE and
Doha, Qatar and is available for immediate mobilisation. The modern and diverse fleet will be supported by OEG Unique’s customer
and technical support resources from facilities in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu
Dhabi and Qatar. On this occasion, Sahil Gandhi, Director @ Unique Maritime Group

Background
Adco is planning to develop the North East Bab Full
Field Development Plan Project (FFDP) in the third
phase in Abu Dhabi to increase its production of crude
oil from the current 1.4 million barrels per day to 1.8
million barrels per day by 2018.
Project status
November 2013: EPC tendering for Al-Dabbiya field
is expected in 2014.
Project scope
The objective of this project is to increase the oil production by 20-40 MSTBD through 50-60 new wells.

Scope of work will increase production capacity at the
Rumaitha and Shanayel fields to 39,000 per day and
the Al Dabbiya field to 73,000 per day. Project includes two packages:
• Onshore, the development of the Rumaitha-Shanayel.
• Offshore, the development of the Al Dabbiya.
Stages of the project are divided in the following way:
Stage 1 & 3 – Rumaitha-Shanayel
Stage 2 & 4 – Al Dabbiya
Project finance
In the Adco joint venture, Adnoc and its partners share
the working interests as following: Adnoc 60 per cent
is the operator, BP 9.5 per cent, ExxonMobil 9.5 per
cent,
Shell 9.5 per cent, Total 9.5 per cent and Partex 2 per
cent
